Always loved the movies, belonged to movie clubs on two continents. Back in the day when miniseries started, I was drawn to continuity of the characters and their stories over time, but truly detested soaps... After adaptations of Jane Austen, 10th Kingdom, Star Trek Voyager, The Lord of the Ring and Detective Murdoch Mysteries, I settled into costume/historical/social commentary/mystery genre. Prefer that to fantasy or contemporary. Started watching c and k dramas seriously while recuperating from the surgery. Fascinated by how the movie industry evolved in Mainland China...
