Hi! The name is Linda aka Chami, 27 years old, working "adult" and professional drama watcher.

I've been a avid drama watcher for many years, as I grew up watching anime. My first asian series ever was Gokusen, a Japanese school drama. I was a huge fan of the group KAT-TUN, so I naturally watched everything Kamenashi Kazuya and Akanishi Jin was in. 

I was a TVXQ fan also, so on the Korean side of things I got into dramas like You're beautiful, Rooftop prince and To the beautiful you. Nowadays I absolutely adore BTS, my bias is Seokjin~

Then I got into BL when I was like.. 14, watched all the Japanese movies that was out at the time, we'll never talk about them again because looking back they were cringy as fuck. And just to have it stated, English is not my first language, I'm as good as fluent though, but my computer's autocorrect is in an other language, so if any words are written wrong, forgive me. 

Luckily times have changed, dramas are freaking good so here are my top of the top, favorite to reccommend! Let's go~

The Eclipse

Wowowowowow I fucking enjoyed this one so much! My love for First and Khaotung is through the roof! I bought the boxset, the hoodie and the calendar! I think I might be obsessed? It's just that sweetsweet FirstKhao/KhaoFirst love that has me hooked.

What can I say about the Eclipse? It's amazing! Ayan is such a refreshing character in BL! I loved Ayan from the start until the end, he was just amazing. And that iconic line "You punch me, I kiss you", It's gonna haunt me. I also noticed that this is the second Thai BL to have rainbow representation! Weird how Gay shows just doesn't have rainbows in Thailand, do better! 

And can we just talk about Firsts performance as Akk? Like, I already knew he was an excellent actor, but goddamn, he was so good! The crying scenes fucking made me tear up, and I never cry at television! The chemestry between First and Khaotung is just amazing, they were made to act together! Love their sweet real life relationship too, bestfriends or lovers, who cares! They're great!

Check out the behind the scenes of the show, there were some raunchy kissing scenes in that. Maybe a little taste for what we can expect in Only Friends? Anyways, Our Sky has an episode dedicated to The Eclipse, can't wait!

The Untamed

The untamed was not my first historical drama in the big scale, but it was my first Chinese BL historical drama wuxia thing, and for that I am greatful. Can you imagine having the best start ever in something? This show is just absolutely perfect, and I couldn't ask for more. If you have some 45 hours to spare, I reccomend delving into this drama. The first few episodes are confusing, but the deeper you fall the better!

Wei Wuxian is just adorable, and the anger I felt throughout this show when it came to CERTAIN people in the show throwing him into the fire was just UGHH! HE'S A CINNAMONROLL GODDAMIT!!

Word of Honor

Did I hear someone yell Wei Wuxian 2.0? Probably, Wen Kexing is the more flirty and bold version of Wuxian, he's literally Wuxian without the chinese censorship. I have no idea how this show got through the censorship but I'm not gonna complain! Word of Honor is my newest obsession, this show is soooo gooood! My favorite character is probably Kexing, the misunderstood flirt. But my heart beats differently when I see Zhou Zishu, he's just built differently (Or maybe I just have a crush on the actor). 

The deleted scenes from this show was so good, so watch it on netflix if you can. They have the uncensored version, same with the untamed.

2Gether 

This show is my favorite Thai one. I like Thai BL, but sometimes some of the stuff that happens in the drama is just too fucking much for me. But 2gether is so good, it's just different from the other ones! I literally liked it so much that I bought the boxset, what a weeb. 

Sarawat was a refreshing character, someone who is confident in their sexuality and didn't question it when he fell for Tine. Tine was also good, the slow transformation he had from playboy to falling for a MAN! And falling for Sarawat of all people, all the girl's wet dream! 

My favorite character was probably Green, I died when he yelled for TIIIIIIINE!!!

Gaya sa Pelikula/Like in the movies

Aaaa, the slice of life genre. My favorite one. The one where you feel like you know the characters and maybe even feel like the characters are you! Gaya sa pelikula just hit differently, so realistic and just so fantastic. This was my first phillipino drama, and my first exposure to the language, except working with some fantastic Phillipino ladies. Well, you can say I was utterly confused when Vlad answered all of Karl's sentences in English. 

Language confusion aside, Vlad! VLAD! Can we talk about Vlad? A already out Gay persion in a BL? Is it even possible? Have you ever seen a confident cinnamonroll gay in a BL series? No? Me neither. 

And the story. 10/10, the story is perfect. Season 2 when??
