I definitely expected more. The script and acting is great, and there's a good character development, that is very consistent throughout the whole movie, but the cinematography and camerawork on the other hand, was absolutely disappointing for a movie this recent. The framing and angles of the shots were very bad, making the scenes tedious to watch. They failed to capture important moments of the film, and had difficulty setting the mood.
Because of this, I would also say that they failed to do the manga justice.
Overall, not a very memorable film.
