Nothing very suprising but that one twist
Honestly ,I have a lot of questions about this series. The entire foundation is on the concept of "debt" but once everyone dies and the winner walks out of the game, what about the debt of the dead people? Has no one ever made ANY kind of correlation between SO many people missing ,like 500 of them each game since this game is conducted more than once a year and has been happening for a decade or so. We can deduce this from when the police officer enters the file room and the files are numbered based on the year and there are multiple files for the same year.If you have seen hunger games, maze runner, divergent,Alice in borderland and the likes, you won't find this very shocking. You know who will win, you will also predict certain twists except for the ONE! So I personally found it dramatic since I have grown numb to the emotional scenes in such series and so had to skip through certain parts. There were parts that I felt were dragged beyond limit .
Coming back to the missing people aspect, how did so many people vanish and the Central intelligence in the country never had an investigation on this? Or not even a conspiracy theory existing on this? Now the reason I focused on the conspiracy theory is that the first time about 100 players left the game, the mc goes to the police narrates his experience and they find it ridiculous. Since he got out anyway, he should've made an attempt to find out about any similar occasions but no, maybe because it isn't the scope of the movie? But he got out AND there is a police trying to find this brother so atleast he(police) should've noticed some pattern around the time his brother vanished and similar other missing cases across country? Why wasn't that pov explored?

Good chemistry but missed opportunity
Both of them re-united for a second drama and I was excited for this one. But was kind of irritated by the plotline. At times it felt she was the one being clingy(which she was). Really want to watch a different interpretation of such a show cuz you can already predict the plot pretty much by the first3-4 eps. What if she never insisted on being married to him and what if she got over him in the first place? The whole idea of "making him fall in love and leaving him" as a revenge for her past doesnt make sense to me as he never lead her on and clearly rejected her during high school that means she was the one who held onto it, can't blame him.Praomook is sure a badass in certain scenarios, will give credit there. Also isn't the sister a minor and lan's friend like mid 20's in the story? Love blossoming there was kind of not ok with me.
Really really wished they showed more of the high school romance aspect as it was somewhat tolerable since you can pass it off as naivety of the age but grown woman being obsessive is not it for me. For the most part it felt that she brought it on herself and her sister is equally annoying too

Another brainfart which shouldn't exist
How did this even get greenlit? Like how?Woman is r@p€d and then she is supposed to fall in love?? Tf? Her anger in every scene makes perfect sense to me. But I HATE the fact that he "likes" her! For what exactly bro? Needless to say, this is the epitome of modern slap/kiss and I did not enjoy it one bit except for seeing mookda on screen(I love you)
Whenever the ML had his "blushing" moments, it made my blood boil. The character is so trash and what for is he shy? Logically, he should be put behind bars along with that "friend" of her's. I have no idea how this one has such high rating.

Clichéd brainfart
Nothing new about this story. It seems very very unrealistic just as any other ceo-employee love stories. What ceo is this hot lmao! Hated the FL's outfits, she ain't a kid ,even 12 year olds don't dress like her. Typical plotline and it DID NOT require 30 eps. This story is easily 16 eps worth. Acting isn't great. Also there was a scene where the male employees were peaking at female employee while they were in their swim suits. Surprisingly, they were never punished(as in severe action taken against them) for such a behaviour. The only thing that was slightly interesting is the love story between the second male and female leads, they deserved to have more screen time since it was painful to watch the lead couple barely move their facial muscle.
She is recruited to be a programmer for a team that is barely shown properly programming or brainstorming and just added some "technical" sounding words to justify the title. I cringed whenever these half-assed so-called technical jargon were thrown around. Also ceo has got a LOT of time to mess with her, what ceo even meets employees like everyday?
How come she was never charged for impersonation? Or something along the lines of fooling a huge company by pretending to be someone else? That's weird. The FL got no spine to talk back when it's needed. If she actually did, they are weak comebacks that makes you want to punch someones face. Gurrlll think smart for once!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was fun but borderline problematic
Scenes where her sibling was misgendered were not ok for me. The acting and chemistry are off the ROOF AND THE PLANET. Casting is the best part of the show. It was light hearted until I felt it being slightly obsessive and irritating. I wondered that a lot of trouble could be saved if certain things did not happen (which were purely voluntary actions) . I really loved to see mild and jumpol together again. The chaos was expected though. If you can't put up with continuous pursuit of one's groom and the consequences surrounding it for long then you may click off easily. There is an obvious test for patience in such series.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
