"Doom at Your Service" Meh, Not Really
Y'all tbh when I first saw the title. I genuinely thought it would be like Doom would be some kind of butler to the female lead, and I guess I wasn't wrong?? I saw how much negativity this show had and after reading some of them, they did make sense. The middle of the show was kind of confusing and it threw me off a little, but in general I understood what happened.
Tak Dong Kyung is a very realistic character and I like that about her. She's always conscious about whether or not she effecting someone's lifestyle, which is a habit I kind of have, and I think a lot of people will agree with me on that. Kim Sa Ram, man I loved him. The way how he always randomly asked Dong Kyung if he could kill another person was funny. And remember that scene where he said "Do you want me to kneel?" and Dong Kyung goes "Why are you still standing?", I thought that was so cute. CHA JOO IK. Sir, you are the CEO of comebacks. This man does not like not having the last word, does he? But it's really amusing. I remember when he said to Dong Kyung "Life is your work, and your work becomes your life. I like that attitude." and she replied something about him always saying something profitable. I need a Cha Joo Ik in my life, I don't care what anyone says. Na Ji Na was an okay character, I personally didn't see why she was added in the beginning, because her complicated relationship with her first love was kind of unnecessary in the story but she still got Joo Ik as a sexy demon boyfriend, so whatever. Lee Hyun Kyu...y'all I couldn't handle him sobbing. Like, no please don't cry you'll find someone. I enjoyed the side characters, specifically Dong Kyung's colleagues, her brother, and Young Prince. I didn't know the actor of Sun Kyung was a band member of sf9, who I don't really listen to, but their song 'Now or Never' is godly. I enjoyed the bromance, and this would have been a rom-com if they included more funny scenes, but I guess there was enough to make me laugh at times. In general, if you want a drama to pass the time, this drama is perfect. If you're like me that doesn't have high standards for dramas, this is also great.
