My favorite type of genres is mystery, medical and business (but I can watch all sorts of stuff though).  I only really gravitate towards Jdramas because they have less melodrama in it and have better pacing compared to what I've seen with some Kdramas.  I'm starting to discover a niche for me with Cdramas but those are hard to find due to lack of subbers unfortunately.
