BL baiting at its worst. It's hard for me to be kind towards this series which took a serious subject and minimalised it. The avoidance of the romance made the final concoction even worse, because the inherent conflict of love and death is the stuff of the real world. In the end, the creatives wimped the story into a simplistic crime story. Saving the characters' struggle with the ethics of euthanasia to one scene at the end only made the whole thing worse. The actors were good and deserve a better vehicle for their smouldering good looks and physical attraction.
