Amazing Cast. Amazing Storyline. Amazing Everything!

I love Feng Bao Bao and I am sure everyone loves Feng Bao Bao; no questions there. However, Zhang Chulan's character is what people would be at first like "meh", but you really need to give him attention, listen to what he says and what he does. He has such a way with words and emotions and if you think he is just being silly, there is more to him than that. There are several scenes where he delivers such amazing lines that you might want to go back and listen to them.
There are several other characters that are so good in this show like Wang Ye! It would be so exciting to find out about what he is seeing regarding Wang Chulan, and Neo Hou is perfect for this role. Bi Wenjun's character is so good and watching him fight the first time with Zhang Chulan was a treat! The brothers of NDT, the elders and even the Sinisters are so fun and interesting. The storyline is very well written, and it would be exciting to explore Baobao's origin in the future episodes. For those who are thinking whether they should or should not be watching this, I would say YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD.

HOOKED FROM THE 1ST EPISODE

I usually read the romance tag and run away, but watched The Legend of Shenli's first episode and didn't stop after that. The actors, the story, "the fancy bird", they are all so good that even if you don't like romance genre, you will still find yourself watching all the episodes and complaining "Why didn't they drop 2 episodes today??"
This is my first time watching Lin Geng Xin and the way he flirts or interacts with the Zhao Li Ying is so sweet. I am also happy to see Xin Yun Lai after watching him in Dream Catcher; he is a really good actor. Must say Zhao Li Ying is so fun to watch. Please start this drama if you haven't already, because you'll love it.


Writing this after watching episode 18 and it is truly wonderful to see Shen Li's character. She doesn't repress her feelings for Xing Zhi and she acknowledges them. She doesn't lead Mofang on and makes it clear that she doesn't have any feelings for him, but she doesn't mistreat him as well. She is aware of her own emotions and feelings, and is a very strong character. All praise for her.

Good Things Come in Threes

Cheng Yi, Joseph Zeng and Xiao Shun Yao is the hilarious trio that you get to watch in MLC. At first, Di Fei Sheng's character may come off cold, but when you really get into the story he is a softie, especially for LianHua. The one thing that DuoBing and Fei Sheng have in common is that they both care for LianHua, and they have different reasons. Di Fei Sheng is the soulmate, who wants LianHua to get better so that they can have another fight, while DuoBing just wants to spend his whole life with LianHua solving cases and traveling the martial arts world.
The storyline captivates you, but more than that it is Cheng Yi's acting that grabs your heart. Jiao Li Qiao is a character who is obsessed with Di Fei Sheng, but also know what she wants in the end. This was my first time watching her in any show, and she is a really good actress. The plot twists in different episodes are so good, even if you might have guessed some of them, they still leave you intrigued about what's to come.
A MUST MUST MUST WATCH SHOW.

ANXIETY AT EVERY CHECK POINT

I am on the 5th episode, but I really wanted to write about this amazing show that keeps you hooked from the very first episode. The main lead, Shen Xing, is an amazing actor and I really like watching his "adventures" (poor boy can't catch a break wherever he goes). However, his most highlighting feature is his kind nature and that surely saves his life a lot of times.
This drama gives me the vibe of Gold Panning, but it is much more than that. Drug Dealers, Gem stone dealers and loan sharks; each and every character has so far done justice to their role. I am no fan of music, but the ending music is so catchy that you will be singing along with it by the second episode.
Another really good character is Dao Tuo, and how he stands up for Shen Xing all the time; the fact that Shen Xing didn't rat him out to Cai is one thing he'll never forget. His bond with Shen Xing is so heart touching, and their interactions on the screen are always a must watch.
Cai is a very graceful character; very cunning and intelligent. He knows who to keep around, even if they are making money on the side, and who to make use of . He knows when to become humble and when to show his intimidating side; he can grab an opportunity like selling frozen meat and turn it into something profitable by all means.
The story is so well written, based on real events (which makes it so much more horrific), and it is a worth watch. If you think watching 1 hour long episode can be a bore, give this drama a try and you'll change your mind.

Edit: Finished the drama and it is a must watch. What wonderful characters and do much heartbreak.
