This is my first Chinese tv drama series I've watched and I love the story of TMPB/eternal love. If you're interested in gods, goddesses, immortals, demons and an epic love story, you'll never get disappointed. I find the first episodes slow and dragging but as I continue to watch the series, the story and plot developed beautifully. In spite of the abysmal special effects, it didn't deter me from watching the whole long episodes. Yehua's love for Bai Qian/Susu is out of this world; he's so selfless and devoted in his love for Bai Qian. Their unconditional love for each other prevailed. Overcoming so many obstacles, trials, heart aches and misunderstandings; they find each other again in another lifetime and another world. Yang Mi and March Chao are phenomenal, they played their roles convincingly.
