Intriguing plot, never been used in any Filipino TV drama but not something new, internationally speaking. I just finished rewatching deep impact a few days ago, and the mention of ELE (Extinction-Level Event) made me winced.
Considering this show was from 2013, the effect aren't that great. The actors were okay, OST too.
But what I can't ignore was the major plot hole: the ML was a devoted soldier, an ex-convict framed by the previous president, was pardoned and was assigned a very important assignment for the project Genesis.
What was so important with this people? They have nothing to do with project Genesis and the humanity's survival. He then spent maybe 90% of the time looking for his lost love and daughter.
Then there's that karmic ending, the bad guys managed to hijacked the spaceship the was supposed to save the chosen ones. Then they collided with the meteor itself and saving the earth. What?!
Not gonna rewatch this, ever.
