Mr. Virgin is a very strange romantic comedy from Hong Kong. A 30-year-old man has been told his entire life that he will die if he is intimate before he turns 30. Just after celebrating this milestone and getting married, he finds out he is a year younger than he thought and therefore can't consummate his marriage. The side story is that his wife does make-up for dead people and she doesn't want him or anyone else to know about it. The story and acting are okay, I did laugh out loud a couple of times and it is very 80's but the thing that put me off this film is the rape storyline. The main protagonist is at a club, meets three women and proceeds to be raped by them in an alley, this is done in a lighthearted way (you do not see anything sexual or violent) and provides comedic moments after the event but I just found it distasteful, I realise that it is from a different time but it ruined an otherwise okay movie for me.
