It's been a while since a kdrama has evoked such strong emotions from me. My boyfriend observed that I was smiling a lot while I was watching the final episode. That's not to say that this show only evokes positive emotions; far from it, in fact. I experienced frustration, sadness, and anger, in addition to the more positive feelings of joy, peace, and happiness.

The story here was very compelling. It's a will-they-won't-they slow-burn romance, with good reasons for why the main couple shouldn't get together. Once they do (or at least, try to), there are significant forces against them and hurdles they must get over. While frustrating, I think the opposition of the parents made sense, as did the behavior of the ex-boyfriend. The side stories were also good. I loved Jeong-in's sisters and their stories. There were such strong female characters in this show. Jeong-in's mom had such a good story arc as well.

The main couple had such great chemistry. Seeing them smile at receiving a text message from each other was enough to make me smile. I enjoyed all their moments together and their ability to communicate. I liked that Jeong-in has a strong personality and wasn't afraid of showing it in her relationship with Ji-ho.

I don't usually notice the OST, but this show had an amazing one. So much so that I listened to it in the car! The music is really beautiful and really adds to the mood of the show. It's wonderful, I really recommend it.

Overall, I think this show is going in my all-time favorites list. The romance is top-tier, the music is so good, and I could see myself re-watching it (although probably just the scenes that I find cute, and not the frustration-inducing ones).
