This is the first review I've ever written for a drama. I'll be as honest as possible.
This lakorn caught my eye because it had a different theme from just typical romance. I am also a fan of Nadech, and have never watched Bow act before, so I wanted to give this a shot.
Story: Good. The character development was amazing, and I could really feel the emotions of the story.
However, I'm a little ashamed to say this but I nearly stopped watching early on because the plot development was slow in the beginning, and only began to pick up a few episodes in. The story was initially a little confusing because they put many dramatic scenes without much explanation or backstory, and I was left scratching my head why everyone was so emotional. This does get better later on, fortunately.
Also, the conflict resolution felt too short and forced, which is why I was disappointed that it ended at 13 episodes. I think it definitely could've stretched to at least 14 or 15 episodes with more time for Kiew and Chompoo (the two leads) to talk their feelings out. As well, I feel like they went all out on the lovey dovey scenes the first time around, and the second time around felt unconvincing. This is probably also to do with the fact that it was only 13 episodes. The pain...
Acting: Very good! All the actors, even the support actors, felt very convincing in the portrayal of their roles. I also believe that Nadech probably had to put in less effort for this role because his character development in this Lakorn is sorta similar to one of his self-directed films: "Mr. Peter's Project." (If you haven't watched it yet, I highly recommend watching it as well!)
Music: Amazing! From the upbeat songs to the romantic ones, they all sound so good even if you don't understand the language. I listened to the lovey dovey one that Nadech and Bow sang on repeat for a week!
Rewatch Value: I found myself rewatching both the cute love scenes and the funny scenes when I was waiting for next week's episodes to come out, so I believe this has high rewatch value. I probably wouldn't rewatch the whole thing, but certain scenes are soo funny and romantic that I would definitely rewatch those scenes to laugh or smile at.
Overall, I highly recommend this lakorn because it's just so different from what typical dramas offer and once the plot kicks off, you can't stop watching until you finish. Highly recommended!
