The down fall of El Tumar was great, but his warning was interesting. He predicted many events that will ruin those who took him down. He was a wise man, that's why he was regnant for so long. I wonder if Empress Ki will take a turn to the dark side.

The level of comfort between Ha Na and Robin went from a 3 to an 8 in this episode. I loved it! We also got introduced to a few more characters. There is still confusion and wonder about why Robin is hated and what happened 5 years ago, but that's what i love, we fall for the characters from the start and later find out their struggles or flaws that make them human....ahhh kdramas ^^...Hyun Bin is super hott as Robin, his sex appeal hits the roof XD

So we get to see the way adults handle surprising situations...not a kdrama land feel at all. Even thought ep 7 had a crazy cliff hanger this episode made up for it with goo and 2 steps forward. But the ending tho O__O
Oh Soo Jin needs better people around her..her confidence it at a -2, her shame at a 5 and her reasoning behind her dislike for Joo Eun is skewed. She needs a life coach.
Young Ho finally goes back to this families company and Joo Eun is still bad ass.

The last couple of episodes have been chaos of events. Been glued to my tv like its my last chance to watch. So good.

The thing about long historical dramas is that there is always a time lapse and things change. The dynamics of the drama has changed making for a whole new feel to the drama.

The ending to this episode was epic. I've been waiting for that scene since I saw it in the opening credits. Bones has so much ish going against her I can't see her getting out of this one. Poor Little Bones, she was born with bad luck.

We finally see some reaction from Kai Qi, other than mean. She's always smiling around him, even though she tries to fight it. Someone mention Taming of the Shrew and i agree. Though i dearly hope it doesn't end the same way. I really wish Ah Jie would at least tell her who he is, she questions him so much because they've know each other for a short period of time and they seem so close already, she's scared. Kai Qi has a sharp tongue, i'm sure that's one reason she doesn't have many friends, that and her super power of pushing people away.

Now ping ting knows the general is alive and well but she isn't sure where he is or what he's doing until she sees him with another woman fighting off he xiu's soldiers who are after ping ting and her family. Unfortunately unknown to bei jie who thinks he's just fighting off the enemy. Now ping ting thinks he has moved on and doesn't call out to him.
On the run from the soldiers ping ting's friend yang feng becomes ill but in a war torn city doctors and medicine is not in supply. So ping ting goes to find what she needs at the one place not effected by the war, a popular casino owned by general. She thinks the owner is a mistress and gets into a bet with herbfor the medicine, blind chess. Some how the general ends up playing ping ting and they both notice the intricate moves made could only be each other.
One of my favorite episodes because the genius of both the general and ping ting shine without either knowing who their opponent is, not much happens but yet so much is said and realized.
Ping ting then realizes that bei jie is the casino owner and seems to have moved on so she leaves with her winnings and heads back to her son and friend. But what she finds is horrifying.

While our amazing general is kicking some much needed a$$ on the battle field Ping Ting hears word that her hubby is actually alive but she is distraught after she has already given a tatical advice to the jealous princess on how to destroy the enemy. Shouldnt she be called a queen/empress now that she on the throne??
Anyway while ping ting is being all emotionally sad (as if Chu bia jae isnt also amazing at tactical war and predictions) she decides she isn't fit to be by his side anymore *hard eye roll*. He's coming for you, fight this war all for you ping ting! Sometimes this genius isn't so smart. Maybe it's the hormones.

Ping Ting spills her heart and souls desires to the General (forget his name when it matters but I know it when I see it) after a long night of playing love music. But he is so cold towards her until she conveys to him her passion to stay by his side not matter what, she will even changed her face to be by his side, till death do us part and even after that.
Princess what-her-name makes some big decisions appointing ppl in her court to prominent positions even though prince consort doesn't seem to agree. He has plans of his own..we just don't know what it is yet. Still could care less about this couple but they make for a great protagonist gone antagonist. Hmm what is his next step.
The last scene is pretty long but does give some insite on what's to come. Murderous concubine giving herself away as a bady..maybe sooner than later...prince what's-his-name/prince consort being a OG till the end about planning his conquest through the pawn that is the murderous concubine and finally how the king feels about the General after a week of mourning and no contact.

If I could have this drama with just the general and ping Ting I would be happier. Prince what's-his-face just married princess-what's -her-name against the wishes of her prime minister. The king form the land the generals from is mourning his queens sudden death which was really murder by his power hungry concubine. More women more problems.
After being in a coma for a few days ping Ting finally stars to wake up but at the same moment the general leaves (after caring for her every need himself) and tells the chatty doctor to not tell her he was here..why?

This was the last episode for me..I watched the cut version. I cried, why it took Bia Zu Ha so long to appreciate everything little bones did, oh the agony they went through. "I'll do anything for her, I'll give everything for her" such passion in the last few scenes.
