I cried so much watching word of honor but it was totally worth it. Episode 35 was very hard, so much happened and it made me cry so much, the actors were amazing and did a great job. The main couple made me cry and smile so much throughout the entire show. Obviously one of my favourites.This BL truly was a masterpiece, you surely won't regret watching it!!
Make sure to watch the special episode 37!! (the finale)

Definitely worth it
I have so many things to say about this drama that I don't even know where to start with. The storyline was amazing and is still one of my favourite dramas of all times. I cried a lot watching it, all along with the ML, I love his character with all my heart. This dramas has the power to break your heart and make it bloom at the same time but it will be worth it I swear. I first watched it in 2022 because I thought it had a sad ending but I was genuinely surprised (and glad) to discover it had a happy one instead!I love the main couple so much and the actors did an amazing job. I recommend this masterpiece and trust me if I say it will be worth it!!

Annoying and manipulative characters
Plot had a good potential but I had to drop this kdrama at episode 3 and trust me if I say I usually like long dramas such as family dramas with clichés and lot of dramatic events happening but I couldn't stand this one. The FL acted so silly and was too immature + not having any respect for her adoptive mom despite they grew up together (just saying I only watched three episodes so I don't know if there's a further reason for her to behave like that but so far I hated the way she treated her adoptive mom) and even ended up doing silly things when meeting the ML and started working for him.The ML, on the other hand, doesn't even seem to have a personality, he gets mad over nothing or acts like he knows everything about people (for example, the part where he was checking the FL resume to hire her, and ended up judging her as an alcoholic)
The elders act silly and manipulative, Sa Ra's mom would do anything just to get some money, Dandan's adoptive mother is very immature and acts childish, even knowing she's in the wrong for always taking her son's side and ends up crying for everything.
The only good part was the acting, I obviously can't deny they all did a good job portraying the characters.

Good storyline but lack of development
It could've been way better, the way they handled the whole story was too rushed and very annoying and cringe in some parts, the main couple lacked romantic scenes that I personally think would've been very important for their story development since they even got married at the end. The FL didn't even give him an apology for her behaviour and suddenly they get married? 😭 Did the writer forget they weren't even talking to each other anymore?Would I recommend? No, I honestly think I wasted my time.

Started very well, but...
Started very well, ended up being very boring and mediocre compared to the Korean original ver. Especially after the main couple got together, the story became very boring, cringe and tiring, they added lots of unnecessary drama and the FL was so childish unlike Bok Joo (it felt very different tbh, her character changed so much especially towards the end) I didn't like the way they handled Jiang Gunan's biological mother's return and how he gave her his house property just like that. A lot of scenes between the second leads felt so rushed and lacked explanations. What else? I had high hopes but ended up being disappointed. I'm giving extra stars to their acting just because the actors did a good job. As I am a huge fan of the original story, let me tell you, just go and watch the original version, it deserves way more, don't waste your time on this one (as I did) also the marriage proposal part at the end was hilarious considering how many times they "broke up" or almost broke up for absolutely no reason at all lmao let me tell you it was unnecessary.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
