Story:
The story was so well-written. It was kinda dark and at the same time the complexity is incredibly exciting. I get to feel happiness, sad, remorse and I'm shocked at how it ended. Although, there are some vague areas when it comes to the development of the characters and their motives.

Acting/Cast:
The casts were incredibly good. All of the three main cast were able to tell the story well and portray the character. There were no boring parts for me as they could throw the lines like it was never acted. It feel like I am watching a reality write in front of me.

Music:
I don't remember any of the music at all. And I always really don't mind the music when I am into the story that much.

Rewatch Value:
I would like to rewatch it because I want to see Jameson and Khalil's scenes. I really like how they do that naked scene. It was so hot but at the same time it wasn't porn-ish.

Overall Value:
It was pretty good. I would recommend this if you like darker stories that will makes you think about the movie right after you watched it.

Epic and high in Re-watch Value

So here is my honest review:

1. Production. Production value has got to be the most amazing thing that has ever happened in a BL series. As expected, they did an excellent job with the locations, set, fashion, and overall Mafia look. The shots, including camera angles and fight scenes, are straight out of Hollywood movies.
2. Story-wise. It's unusual to see series that depict the lives of the LGBTQ community in a mafia setting. Although the target audience is mostly female who likes stories of two men falling in love with each other, it's not surprising that the series turned out to be gay-friendly because both the actors who played the main roles, Mile and Apo, were vocal about their stand on equality. They even campaign for marriage equality in Thailand and are very supportive of it, as they mention in their interviews. The story is really one for the books. It didn't even come from the big companies out there, and it's a start-up project from a new production company, but it surprisingly gathered the best people, including one from the production team behind the Call Me By Your Name movie.
3. Acting. It's obviously one of the best factors that drives the show. All of the actors and even the production were really devoted to the series in the best way possible, and it's obviously shown. Although it's not that perfect, it certainly is one of the best that the Thai BL industry has ever had. Skeptics may find this statement biased, but you really can't think of a fault because it did what it was supposed to do. The actors clearly put in a lot of effort, as evidenced by the high quality of the final product.

So, what went wrong, according to the skeptics?
1. Some of them say that the third couple was unnecessary. Why would you even question this if they are following the books? It's weird for you to question the story if it is a product of the writer's imagination. It may seem mean, but I suggest you make up your own story if you don't like the idea. I don't even find it questionable to add the third couple simply because it's highly possible due to them being in one environment, the mafia world. Anything is just possible, and you can't do anything about it.
2. Unnecessary connection? Why do you even think there's an unnecessary connection going on? As far as the story goes, I can't remember a character who has an unnecessary connection to the story. Anybody who thinks otherwise can simply finish the series before saying this and drop the name of that character. I believe everyone played a lot, even the friend of Porsche who seems to have nothing to do with the plot but surprisingly plays quite a role in proving the character development of Kinn.
3. I don't know why it's a problem for some when the main leads simply develop a character change. I don't think in the real world it isn't possible, so why does this become a problem for some?
4. BL series, especially those from Thailand, are known to insert comedic plots, so I don't quite understand why other people still find it negative and distractive. If you are a fan of the Thai BL series, you will find that every now and then there are comedic scenes added. This is because Thai series in general are known for it. Even the lakorns use this type of plotting to create some lighthearted scenes in the midst of the episode's dark tone. To be honest, the only time I have seen the timing be off was when Kinn and Porsche were talking about Kinn's ex after Porsche showed Kinn the picture of Tawan. I expected their conversation to go deeper, but in the end they cut the conversation short and had Kinn throw the cramped picture of Tawan in the trash can after Porsche said so. I was expecting Kinn to actually dispose of it and get rid of it because Porsche, who is looking adorably cute, was jealous and ordered him. I was waiting for a game changer there because my emotions were high at that point, only to be turned off by a cute joke.
5. Some people are saying it should focus on the mafia aspect. I beg to disagree. This is a BL series in a mafia world; it has the right amount of mafia in there, and if you really followed the story correctly, there is plenty of that aspect in every scene. If they go beyond it and focus on the mafia aspect, the story will become a mafia story rather than a BL story. I haven't read everything in the novel, but I came across an English translation one time, which is now removed due to copyrights. The scenes are too dark, but overall, it didn't really get too deep into the mafia world. So why would you think the series should go into that aspect when it's not the main point of the series? I get it; it lacks scenes where there is plenty of killing every minute, but do you really think that's how the mafia works? They have already shown a couple of scenes where there are killings and actions and everything you can expect from a mafia world, but just because they are showing how Kinn is slowly leaving away from that part because he falls in love with Porsche, you can say in general that they should have been focusing on the mafia aspect. Why is that a problem?
6. Vegas, you say, is the saving grace. Yeah, I get it; everyone loves Vegas. It's always the toxic manipulator, the cunning character, and some fans have typical villain apologists' behavior that I always see, but, to be honest, he is not the saving grace because there is nothing to be saved here. You just love the concept of torture, killing, toxicity, and redemption. There's no need to argue that those are typical story arcs that always get a good clap from fans; honestly, that's how it gets interesting, when villains become good people after they do the most horrible things. I can see where this is going already, so I am not surprised that a group of fans would rather choose Vegas and Pete over Kinn and Porsche. I have no problem with that except that you oriented your review of the series around what happened to your favorite character. That's not fair because that's not how you make a review. You can't say the entire series is bad just because you don't like the characters. That's not how it works, honey. Just tell me you have second-lead syndrome; I'd understand. Kinn changes into a soft, caring, and loving character because of Porsche and Vegas similarly did when he met Pete. But why are you hating how the story of Kinn and Porsche goes because you are loving Vegas and Pete? It doesn't make sense to me. That is why I don't like people with one-sided views on everything. They always misunderstand things because they are not open to looking at other people's points of view because they only like what they like, then shut off the window and close the argument.
7. You like Tankhun but you hate the comedy inserted into this series because it's too much? Every scene with Tankhun is hilarious. Are you kidding me? Every scene with him is a literal comedy.

All in all, the series is not perfect, but it is definitely something to be praised for its production value, story, and actors' performances. They deserved to be recognized and hailed. I almost forgot about how great the cinematography is. So yeah, it is one of the things you will notice in this series. Spoiler alert! The bathroom scene, the helicopter, Vegas' torture room, and Kinn-Porsche's date are stunningly shot. Those scenes are really incomparable. The acting of the actors in those scenes is superb. Please watch them on official channels. You can watch them legally on iQIYI.

Give it a shot, just don't expect too much

I started watching it when I came across a short clip on YouTube Shorts. Honestly, I heard of this a couple months ago, but I didn't watch it when the episodes premiered because I didn't have plans to. I heard a lot of toxic comments against it, so that is probably one thing that hinders me from even starting to click on episode one. I initially thought this was a waste of time and boring. In fact, when I finally started watching it just a week ago, I wasn't quite hooked after the first episode. There was nothing spectacular in the first episode. I expected it to pick up where the first season left off. It didn't even bother touching a bit of the story that made the last season a cliffhanger. Not until episodes 2 or 3, if I'm not mistaken. Also, there were parts of the continuum of the story that didn't quite make sense, which is why it lacks an interesting hook in the first episode. However, something pulled me when episode 3 came, or at least the part where both the leads, Tarntatch and Lomnaw, began their rivalry. I know it sounds cliché in most BL series, but the way they made it different shed light on the previous episode's boredom. Usually, when the trope is like this, they fight against each other to compete for something. This time it's different; they fight against each other to lose something. You have to watch it to find out. I won't spoil it here. Just picture this: whoever plays Tarntatch and Lomnaw has amazing chemistry. I have heard a lot of negative stuff about this series, mainly because of the diehard fans of the actors from the previous season. If I were you, don't listen to them and give this one a shot. I just have to warn you though that, like any other BL series from Thailand, this is not that high on the budget, but you will be amazed at how they were able to pull off a good scene, which usually requires money because of the location and props. I truly believe that this series has the potential to go big. Personally, my issue is not with the actors. I have seen a lot of old actors from a certain big company who don't have much improvement in their acting, but with good looks, they are able to have some fans. They actually have pretty big fandoms, and until now I still questioned why. On the other hand, the actors here seem pretty new to the BL industry but have really big potential. I just thought that the problem in this series lies in the writers and director. Some scenes were not necessary, but they were still added. I also notice that they didn't put much weight on the situation when Wayo was avoiding P'Pha because of that cliffhanger scene from the previous season. I believe they should have made it darker because the tone of that part of the story in this series is already dark enough, but only to be treated just like any other story. They could have made P'Pha strangle those bodyguards just to show his intent of going after Wayo who is avoiding him out of shame. They made P'Pha someone who would go against everything just to be with Wayo but these are all words and few actions. That is why it leaves me wanting something. The scene actually just passed by, and I was kind of waiting for it to be a bit bigger and more dramatic because that was the continuation of where season one left off. Unfortunately, they came up short on drama. Even if the actors can't quite do well with it, they should have added more scenes and dynamic blocking to make it appear dramatic. Also, they did not give so many lines for them to utilize. I have problems with their dialogues because many times you expect them to say something only to be dragged to another scene or frame when they are about to do so. I don't know if this is a deliberate cut, an editor's problem, a problem with the writer, or a director's interpretation of the scene. So if you are someone who is very keen on details, I would recommend you watch this to support the actors and not expect anything big from this. But mind you, the actors who played Tarntatch and Lomnaw have really surprising chemistry. I'm living for it. Up until now, I've been surprised that they are a match.

My Heart for 2 Moons 2

Initially, I was very hesitant to watch this season of 2 moons. I have watched the first season and I fell in love with it right away although not all of it is something you would like specially at some point it lacks truthfulness of the message it wants to convey or maybe it lacks proper execution of emotions to tell a perfect story, but I don't want to be a perfectionist in a way so yes it was something you'll surely find amusing. If you like a cute story about semes and ukes then you probably need to watch 2 Moons. The story itself is something that will make you blush, it is overwhelming and truly something that will make you nostalgic of those days when you were in school, finding your crush and falling in love, cute stuffs you would need to fulfill your heart's quest. All of these I found from watching the first season is not something that would stop me from following the series. Not that I would want to do until just recently it broke my heart when the casts was announced to be replaced due to contract problems, some business issues that could have been solved but it wasn't. So I decided I will never watch it anymore. Maybe I have made the decision in protest or I don't want to anymore because I feel bad for the actors. But who am I to judge the business minds of the people behind this show though. Until recently, I woke up with all this news that the new actors will fulfill to continue what was started by the original actors of 2 moons. In fairness to the new actors, they are very much willing to shed blood, sweat and tears to make a good show. At least it what I have seen from them during their promotions and interviews.

Now I'm gonna make an honest review of the season 2. So far there were 2 episodes aired already and I am very much thankful with Mellow Thailand for uploading with English subs for international fans. Now I can follow the journey of the moons. I appreciated that they started the season by backtracking the story with of course the new casts. It will not only give the new and old fans a refreshing start but as well give them a base of the story with a completely new environment. I also love how they carefully took away scenes from the first season that would harm the story-telling and pace of the new season. Just like what they did with the infamous raining scene where Wayo slipped and Phana caught him with his strong arms. I am very glad they took it out hence it will help stop the continuous comparing of the previous actors and the new ones for the role which can not be avoided and definitely unfair. I have been vocal about avoiding to watch the next season even to my friends but when I saw the trailer, I quickly fall for it and got excited to see more, specially my personal bias now is Joong Archen Aydin. Honestly, at first I am hesitant if the new actors were able to pull it off, but as soon as I watched the pilot episodes again and got through the succeeding one, I noticed that it was really different from the first season. The trademark of the director is evident but I completely forgot it wasn't the same actors anymore. That is something commendable right? As I stared unto the faces of the new actors and as I carefully followed how they act I then realized they were impressively fit for the role. I wasn't sure for the actor who played Wayo though, because at some angles he can be awkward and the actor who played Phana too, but I am certain though that they can work on it because I believe that they are perfect for the role. Now, let's talk about chemistry. The actors who played Ming and Kit here is oozing with chemistry. Even off-cam, they can be like TaeKook (waving to TaeKook fans out there), or they can be really good real-life lovers. Maybe that is what makes Joong Archen Aydin a perfect seme because he can be really sweet and caring, even if it is not fan service anymore. This might be the reason why he immediately rose to fame. I could say a lot of things for the season 2 of 2 moons but it was just 2 episodes being aired yet. So, I reserved the rest of my review for the succeeding episodes.
