The 2nd ML…. Manipulative much? Like…. I was feeling bad with his passive aggressive behavior! What a way to bring Gu Yi’s enthusiasm down, but people would claim he’s being “fair” ??♀️ anyway, I enjoy a villain of this kind. He looks amazing on paper and is such a toxic human. But the actor and the direction for this are top notch they really lay it out there.

Everything about this show is really cool: the sets, locations, photography, directing, the choice of actors. The leading pair is SPECTACULAR and have amazing chemistry. Lin Yi is as always elegant (and very tall!) and can portray the character superbly… just look at his eyes and you can feel Liang and how distant from regular/mundane emotions he is; and then, there’s Shen Yue, she’s is AMAZING in this role, and always a gem to watch. Gu Yi is a vibrant, vivacious and funny girl, always connecting with the people around her… until she met de ML, that is. You have to watch to see how they do. This show is very pleasant overall and a surprise as to how good it is
