My Demon. My review.
Soo Good. Loved every episode.It is a somewhat unique story line of fated Loves and the trials faced to be together all interlaced with a few mysteries from past and present for our characters.
The whole cast is amazing from main leads to our villian(s) to the supporting charaters. The visuals of Song Kang & Kim You-Hung are well matched in every scene. Amazing soundtrack!

Great story of finding ones way in life and love. : )
Overall good story line and character arcs.Really great growth in the charaters and story line. Not overwelming with the common romance tropes. WinWin as YanYue (ML) and He HongShan as An Ran (FL) really do match well for charisma and strengths. WinWin really masters expressive thoughtful gestures and quiet love while He HongShan is succesful in portraying a young woman who is just trying to push through and build a place for herself & team in the business world.
And I really have to say that they manged to build the suspense of who and why the anatgonist is for challenging our leads. I like that everything is resolved in the end in a credible and pleasant means.

Mystery intrigue : Cons make better detectives.
Mystery intrigue... with Wang Zi Qi and Zhang Yu Xi.An Intersting new tale of detective & cold case mistery mixed in with childhood friends meet fated love. A great lighthearted watch with cute cast in a play with story within story script. Don't underestimated their ability to portray emotions, and tap the literary "4th wall". So many good scenes, imagery, symbolism, and lines of wisdom from our teams. And a hidden gem perfomances from Liu Zhe Hui (because everyone needs a best tech support wingman) and He Peng ("super hero idol in disguise).

First Impression.
First impression (8 episodes in..) I have just started in on this series of 40 episodes.Initial set up for cdrama historical detective court love story.
I do find the first few episodes a bit long in establishing the charaters nad trying to keep track of all the parties for future reference will be challenging. I am eager to see hoe much then continue to uncover of the childhood connections with each episode. I feel it would be sweeter to see more of why the FL is so open minded and trusting towards the ML.
Ryan Ding has matured so much into this charater, I Love it. Cant wait to see more of his signature facial geestures.
