Chief Kim is an absolute gem of a Korean drama that had me smiling, laughing, and rooting for the characters from beginning to end! Namkoong Min as Kim Sung Ryong was an absolute riot. His comedic timing, eccentric personality, and surprising heart made him one of the most lovable leads ever. Watching him transform from a money-loving accountant to a justice-seeking hero was pure joy! Yoon Ha Kyung (Nam Sang Mi) added grace and strength as his supportive yet no-nonsense colleague, bringing a grounded balance to the chaos.

And let’s talk about Seo Yul (Junho)! His transformation from a cold, calculating villain to someone more complex and layered was brilliant. The chemistry between him and Kim Sung Ryong—both as rivals and reluctant allies—was one of the highlights of the show. Hong Ga Eun (Jung Hye Sung) was an absolute delight as the spirited intern-turned-detective, bringing a fresh and vibrant energy to the team and also the rest of the Cast were outstanding.
