Why did i didn’t know this was so good.
Why did i didn’t know this was so good. Chemistry ✅ Highly charged banter ✅ balance of immature naïveté + matured resolution of issues ✅.Being in the same profession, id say the pressure of competition, absence of work life balance, & the emotional/ mental breakdown is all too real. That scene where the FL’s former senior/ supervising lawyer was crying in the hospital and still trying to work? That happened to me too. I was just so tired. Tired but there’s this nagging guilt that if i don’t do it, no one will... my team will suffer. And this voice in my head saying you cant slack off. Thankfully, iv since learned to value my health & time better. So i guess that relatability is a factor to me immensely enjoying this.

Eat, sing, love.
I don’t write reviews but i felt compelled to let people know how enjoyable and fun this is. It left me smiling like a fool just about every episode.There’s no angst. No misunderstandings. No drama. Just the experience of feeling like a third wheel witnessing 2 people fall in love.
I rewatched this several times already immediately after finishing the first run and I'm not bored yet. It kinda reminded me of Love O2O & Reply ‘1988. Totally not the same, just the vibe is reminiscent of.
The leads are adorable & natural. Tan Jian Ci is a new obsession hahahaha. Even watched his mv’s & dance practices in between rewatches.

There’s no saving a bad script
This was torture. WTF with the “misunderstanding” lasting virtually the whole series? It’s tiring to watch stupidity last all episodes. Trudged through it for the actors but… what a disappointment and wasted potential. The script was just too weak and flimsy and flawed. So much so that even the lead’s star power can’t save this drama. Enjoyed the second leads more than the main leads.This was torture. Unlikeable FL
It has its good highlights. but, i couldn't get immersed in it after 14 episodes because I don't find Li Rong likeable. This obsession with the other guy is just distasteful & unsupported by the story premise.Its so difficult to finish bec the character of Li Rong is just frustrating af. Her relationship with her brother is heartwarming. Her relationship with others is just eyeroll inducing. Gaslighting galore. Ugh.

Must watch
I really enjoyed this one.Good storytelling and great acting. Park Shin Hye shined. It’s too bad that she was typecast in “pity me, look i cry pretty” roles early in her career. But she definitely showed her doubters in this series that she’s one of the best actresses in the industry.

That was dumb
Lost interest after that maid lied, got someone else in trouble, acted remorseful, but didn’t reveal her lie. I know it’s supposed to be a comedy but being a comedy doesn’t mean plot should be dumb and characters lack integrity. We supposed to be ok with what she did? Pfft.Too bad. I really like JCT. That character though killed this drama for me.
