THE BEST HIGHSCHOOL DRAMA FOR ME
From the story plot, characters, casting, visual effects, down to the OSTs, I can't think of another Cdrama that can make you feel more at home. There's nothing negative I can say about this drama, except that I wish it had unlimited episodes so I could see what happens to the characters afterwards. It's a soft and fluffy series that evokes beautiful memories of high school. The friendships portrayed are wholesome, and all the characters are lovable. The main leads, ML and FL, are the epitome of a perfect couple. They face their problems together by communicating openly. I adore the FL's character; she knows her worth and doesn't seek sympathy from others. She's independent and capable of solving her own problems. As for the ML, he's refreshingly flawed, unlike other characters who are multitalented and excel in everything. This imperfection makes Lu Rang perfect for Su Zai Zai.
The entire story is a masterpiece, creating a warm and nostalgic atmosphere. With each episode, I find myself transported back to my own school memories. It's the best Cdrama for me, and I believe it will be hard to find another one that can replace it. It will forever hold a special place in my heart.

cute and funny!
Finally, I've finished watching it!If you're in the mood for something light and funny, this is a great pick. The series offers a refreshing break from heavy drama and stressful plots, presenting a cute story of childhood friends discovering their love for each other.
Miaoyi and Jun's performances were on point! Tutu's character, portrayed with humor, cheerfulness, and optimism, was an absolute joy. Chao's caring nature, behind his serious personality, provided a perfect contrast. The two protagonists' chemistry made their evolving relationship truly interesting.
The skinship and kiss scenes had my best friend and me rolling on the floor with excitement. As a Miaoyi fan, it was fantastic to see her shine as the female lead alongside Jun, whom I've come across in some of SVT MVs.
Though the plot was enjoyable, there were a few minor hiccups:
Firstly, the voiceover for Jun sometimes felt disconnected from his actions. This mismatch affected the character's overall vibe, making him appear a tad odd. Better synchronization would have made a difference.
Secondly, the makeup in certain scenes appeared off, particularly around the actors' necks. A small detail, but it is so obvious.
Now, onto more major observations:
The series could have benefited from deeper character arcs. While the story was good and the plot interesting, the characters needed more three-dimensional personalities. True attachment to the characters occurs, not just when they relate to them, but when the audience feels like they are living through them. Miaoyi and Jun's acting was commendable, but the narrative didn't give their characters enough room to grow and reveal their true selves—their passions, dreams, fears, and hopes.
Regrettably, the series didn't delve deeply into the friendship aspect. The camaraderie among the friends was enjoyable to watch, but it was challenging to form a strong attachment to them without delving further into their personalities. We felt like distant observers, watching their interactions from afar.
Moreover, the school setting wasn't well-explored, and time seemed to fly by without clear indications of the passing years. The focus predominantly lay on the evolving romantic relationship between the two leads, leaving the school background somewhat neglected.
As for the second couple, their initial cute story took a disappointing turn due to communication issues. They should have spent more time communicating their feelings rather than making decisions without hearing the other side.
There were also many guys who fell in love with Tutu. I know that Tutu's character is cute and lovable, but the story didn't need a lot of guys falling for her just to trigger Ling Chao's emotions. They didn't need those additional characters to show that Chao loves her. If they didn't know what to do with some episodes, they should have at least focused on their college studies or internship and how they supported each other.
Overall, it's a good watch, especially if you're seeking something lighthearted and funny. Despite a few areas that could have been enhanced, there are plenty of humorous and romantic moments to savor.
Here's hoping we'll get to witness Miaoyi and Jun's exceptional chemistry in another drama soon!

Warm and Nostalgic!
This drama is like stepping into a time capsule of warm, fuzzy feelings. It's packed with nostalgia that takes you back to those precious moments of friendship, school, and family. The casting is on point, with each actor perfectly fitting their characters and bringing them to life. It's hilarious too! Some scenes had me laughing so hard, I thought I'd burst. But don't be fooled, because it can tug at your heartstrings too. I mean, seriously, episode 11 hit me like a ton of bricks. Cue the ugly cry! Now, let's talk about Tan Song and Cheng Zi. Their love story is a slow burn that's totally worth the wait. I was rooting for them from the beginning, and their emotional journey had me hooked. But what I really crave is the story of the second lead. They have the same captivating personality, and their unresolved ending left me hanging. It's a total cliffhanger, and I can't help but wonder what happens next, especially with Tan Song's cousin making a comeback. A little hint in the end would have put my restless mind at ease.
I really appreciate the incredible cinematography. It's a visual feast, especially considering it's a Cattree creation. I was amazed by the stunning shots that perfectly captured the essence of each scene. The intro is cute, no doubt, but I secretly wished for an extra dose of nostalgia, just like "When I Fly Into You's" intro.
But overall, this drama is absolutely fantastic. It has that special something that lingers in your heart, making you miss the characters even before it's over. I might just find myself rewatching it someday, to relive those beautiful moments.

Short and cute story
If you love short dramas that are fun to watch and make your heart flutter, this series is perfect for you. It starts with an interesting beginning that leaves you curious about what will happen to the characters in the long run. Despite being short, the plot doesn't feel rushed.
What I like about it is that it's easy to watch and has a very funny script. I couldn't help but feel shy for the FL's moves towards her exes and how she dances. I enjoy watching HY and HKJ teasing each other and having fights over small things, yet they still care for each other.
I kinda have a crush on the DJ guy there because I think he's cool.
Another thing I love is that they give little spoilers at the beginning of each episode. Most of the time, I decide to watch more because of that.
Here are my personal thoughts on each character:
NTR: He's super charming, and there's something intriguing about his cold yet caring nature. But I can't quite figure out why he keeps sending her mixed signals. Was he just confused about jealousy or trying to protect his pride? It's a bit confusing, and his on-again-off-again behavior raises some red flags for me.
HY: She's a bundle of cheerfulness and curiosity. She's not afraid to be shameless and take risks so she won't have any regrets. However, I think it would be better for her to work on her own personal growth before jumping into another relationship. She seems too attached to someone who doesn't reciprocate her feelings. It's understandable, but you can't force someone to love you back. She needs to learn to love herself, gain confidence, and recognize her own worth. Instead of playing tests, she should express her feelings openly and honestly.
HKJ: Oh, he's just too adorable! I'm glad he took some time for himself and realized his own value. Honestly, I don't think he deserved to be with her from the start. She used him as part of HY's plan, and he deserves someone who truly appreciates him. He's kind and helpful, and I want the best for him.
I just wish we knew more about the reason for NTR breaking up with her. It would have been great to see more character development for the girl. She lacks confidence and always begs her exes to stay with her, so this issue should be addressed. The guy who ends up with her should be someone who can have a healthier relationship.
Another aspect I wish the series explored more is NTR and HY's background story. This would make it harder for the audience to choose the best partner for her. Currently, it feels a bit predictable based on their screen time, so adding more depth would make the story more interesting.
Overall, it's a typical cliché story, but it's still enjoyable to watch. If you're looking for a drama that's easy to watch and won't stress you out with too many problems, give it a try. You might just like it!
