My favorite dramas that aired in 2024. Sorted most to a little less favorite. All of these are recommended. This is my personal preference, so don't judge me. Or do, I don't care :))

1. My Stand-In: Uncut
Thai Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
Probably my favorite Thai BL ever. I know that it's not objectively the best, but it just clicked. Joe will forever have my heart. This has such a "low" score from me because the last ep was kind of meh, but that's just my opinion.

2. Love in the Big City
Korean Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
I think this needs no explanation. I had goosebumps every episode. This was just perfection.

3. The Heart Killers
Thai Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
This is still airing, but boy, do I enjoy it. I immediately fell in love with Fadel, and the FadelStyle dynamic, the plot is unique and interesting, the pacing is great, the intimacy scenes are good. Probably one of the best GMMTV BLs I've seen so far.

4. Mr. Plankton
Korean Drama - 2024, 10 episodes
God, this was a ride. The cinematography and Woo Dohwan's acting were just to die for. Loved the side characters, especially Kkari, so much. I enjoyed every second of this. Also, props to the man being the terminally ill one for once (cough cough looking at you, Queen of Tears, Doom at Your Service...).

5. The Time of Fever
Korean Drama - 2024, 6 episodes
This was one emotional ride. I kid you not, I've rewatched that scene in ep. 4 at least... 5 times. The acting, the tension, the cinematography... everything was so top tier. I just wish we got more of this. Manifesting a sequel set after Unintentional Love Story for 2025. I need that.

6. Spare Me Your Mercy
Thai Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
I absolutely love the maturity and seriousness of this drama. It actually tackles an interesting ethical question, and combines this with a thrilling murder mystery. I love the dynamic between our MLs. Excellent acting, storyline, and production quality.

7. The Number You Have Dialed
Korean Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
This is still airing, but it is so enjoyable. The story is so engaging, unique, the main actors are doing a great job. I love that both main characters are a little bit fucked up.

8. 4Minutes (Sultrier Version)
Thai Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
This started stronger than it ended, but it was one hell of a ride. I loved the mystery, the different couple dynamics, and, obviously, Bible. It was so good to see him on screen again.

9. Mou Mou
Taiwanese Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
I had a hard time getting into this (the stepbrother thing irked me a lot), but it was such a complex drama. I love the director, he really knows how to make internalized homophobia angst. I need a second season.

10. The Judge from Hell
Korean Drama - 2024, 14 episodes
This was quite a good one. The actors and story were excellent. I liked the pacing and the way one story was told in around 2 episodes. Towards the ending it was a bit weak, but until then it was very enjoyable.
