This drama is absolutely perfect if you want a cute drama that will send you wheezing every episode. The comedy here is a gem! It masterfully managed to use the body-swap trope to the best of its potential, making this drama totally different from other body-swap dramas. The romance between an entertainment reporter and idol in this drama is so cute as well.

Looking for something fluffy! Here you go! We dive into fun college life as first loves bloom and students branch out to the next section of their life. A smart forensic science student falls in love with a bubbly girl majoring in literature, and their journey starts there.

Honestly, I thought that this drama didn't have any clear plot backing it up, but it is very popular and loved by many. Most people liked the drama because there weren't any misunderstandings or a love triangle. What makes it unique, though, is the world of e-sports, and the characters.

This. is. SO. cute! The ML here is cold, but gives off strangely warm vibes. The OTP is one to die for! Tong Yao shows us how strong and awesome we girls can be. Not to mention all the eye candy, and the competitive atmosphere that brings tension and interest to an even higher level! This is THE E-sports Cdrama of 2021.

Yes, we do have that cliche concept of rich-man, poor-girl. The FL starts out as a "blood supplying machine" for the CEO of a large company, but he discovers her many good attributes as they start eating lunch together. (that does sound a little weird)

Le Coup De Foudre is about friendship, familial love, and romantic relationships from high school all the way to adult life. Humans experience heartbreak along with joy and happiness, and we learn so much from the stories of the many characters in this drama. The character relationships are just phenomenal and lovable, and I loved the interactions.

Love is very sweet, and this is certainly true for our couple here! This office romance is an explosion of sugar sweetness, and the bitter elements from the past are slowly resolved. I especially liked the strong female lead. She is independent but caring.

Moonlight is a rom-com about an editor female lead and author male lead, and the drama is just so cute! It's very rare to find a drama with a cute and truly strong fl and a very cute ml, but this one was just perfect! It's cute and inspirational at the same time, and the leads were just perfect for the roles!

Two young men with lagging pasts become best friends, and they travel through the Pugilistic World together, discovering secrets and uncovering pasts. Although Chinese censorship prevented the drama from including its BL contents, it is beautifully produced with amazing scenery and acting.

Love Between Fairy and Devil is a romance between heartless Moon Lord Dong Fang Qing Cang and orchid Xiao Lanhua, whose story shows us that love has no boundaries.

This drama starts with one of the coldest MLs in history, but after he meets our cute FL, his change is drastic. This drama also focuses on the concept of e-sports, and the amazing teamwork between our beloved supporting characters is undeniable.

Go Ahead has one of the most joyful and warm families. While they are not all blood-related, they are related in the heart and soul. We follow the main characters on their journeys to discover what the definition of family really is. I might have been a little harsh with the rating, but this drama is truly a funny and loving one.

45 episodes- Modern Family Comedy/Romance

Tells the story of Shi Yi Niang, a concubine-born daughter's journey of avenging for her mother's death, all the while gaining respect from her husband's family. If you enjoyed Minglan, you'll surely enjoy this drama!

A greatly-loved Wuxia drama, Joy of Life truly shows us the correct way one should live a wonderful life. Fan Xian discovers the dangerous world of politics and power, but always manages to live life to the fullest, from establishing good relationships with his family members and friends and finding true love to solving captivating mysteries.

A sweet rom-com with a ML who has to learn to overcome his childhood trauma, and the FL helps him along the way. They first meet through a dream, and the love story progresses from there.

Absolutely stunning. Beautiful, in terms of CGI, acting, and the story. An amazing Xianxia work. What else? I simply love it. It's just so heart-warming and so heart-breaking at the same time. Oh, your poor heart probably won't be able to take this like me, but I just can't take my eyes off the screen!

The Long Ballad appears to be a normal revenge-plot drama, but as you dive deeper into each character's adventures and stories, you begin to connect with many of them, while despising others as if they were your own enemy. The cute friendship, intelligent thinking, and thoughtful romance shouldn't be missed as well!

I loved this love story between a young princess and a wolf pup. (a boy raised by wolves) She shows him kindness, but certain circumstances break them apart. When they meet again, hearts are both mended and shattered. Some people didn't enjoy the misunderstandings, but they show how pure the love is.

Hmmmm, how would I describe this gem? Adapted from a popular BL novel, The Untamed shows us the strong friendship (aka hidden romance) between our two MLs. While not very direct, it is clear to the audience that there is something there that is deeper than bromance because of the amazing acting presented. The leads work together to solve various mysteries.

50 episodes- Xianxia Bromance/Mystery

A Wuxia drama that explores mystery, romance, and adventure. The female lead matures as she overcomes countless challenges, thanks to the advice of many wise martial arts heroes and heroines. This drama has particularly bad backdrops, but the second half of the drama was very enjoyable.

A little girl realizes that this peaceful manor in which she lives in is not the real world at all. She meets both evil and good on her adventures and finds unexpected love. Mysteries are unraveled on her way to seek revenge. There is a lot of plotting and talking, and this drama might not be suitable for everyone.

One of the most beautiful and heartbreaking historical romances I've ever watched. When you finish the drama, you'll think back to everything the leads have been together. It's obvious the grassland princess and powerful prince are in love with each other, but life simply made them star-crossed lovers.

Love Like the Galaxy is broken down into two parts, with 56 episodes in total. The drama follows 15 year old Cheng Shaoshang's journey as she becomes accustomed to her estranged family members. She learns to become what others call the 'perfect' noble lady, but experiences many heartbreaks on the way. Young General Ling Buyi falls in love with her, and their romance starts from there. Sides characters are absolutely precious in this drama.

56 episodes - Historical Romance/Mystery/Political

This is the official sequel to Eternal Love, but you do not need to watch that drama to be able to understand this one. Our main leads also go through three different lives, and many heartbreaks, but finally understand that they are meant for each other.

Through three different lives in three different worlds, our main leads go through various tribulations to find each other. Despite the continuous problems that try to break them apart, fate always manages to help them reunite.

My all-time favorite drama, Love and Redemption shows us the redemption of a love that has lasted for 10 lifetimes. Both the main leads and the audience go through heartbreaks, reunion, and so much more, as well as unlock the deep mysteries of the past. BREATHTAKING.

This is the love story between the powerful Fire Deity and the daughter of the Flower Goddess, but she is oblivious about almost everything. After she meets the ML, she starts to discover more and more, and becomes stronger due to circumstances.

63 episodes- Xianxia Romance

The FL starts out as a helpless maid of a prince's manor, and progresses into a martial arts expert. She goes through heartbreak as she loses the ones she loves, but manages to stay strong. This drama seemed a little longer than it should have been, but it may have been just me.

67 episodes- Political/Wuxia/Romance

As a long(er) historical drama, the story is intriguing and informative, the characters all have their special personalities, and it's obvious that this is not a low-budget drama. The audience follows the female lead as she learns that being a royal princess, the niece of the emperor, is not all sunshine and rainbows.

68 episodes- Historical/romance/politics

The FL, Wei Yingluo, is a total badass whose intelligence brings her a long way, from palace maid to the emperor's most pampered Noble Consort Ling. The satisfaction in this drama is rewarded at the end, as the harem struggles are difficult and sometimes even fatal. Even if you don't like long historical dramas, do give this a try if you're looking for a strong and intelligent FL who doesn't need to depend on a man in ancient China.

70 episodes - Historical Drama/Romance

In ancient China, the children of concubines are not always treated well. Doted by her grandmother, our FL grows up under wise and tender care, maturing into an intelligent young woman. She "defeats her enemies", and finds romance along the way,

Also set in Emperor Qianlong's inner harem, RRLITP focuses instead on Empress Ula'nara, who was Emperor Qianlong's first childhood crush. We follow her journey as she becomes the step-empress, facing numerous difficulties as all eyes are on her, with high expectations for her to fulfill her duties as a Qing Dynasty empress. Ruyi makes some strong friendships but realizes that true love cannot fully exist in the imperial harem.
