This series centers around the relationship between the female and male leads. This showcase how in a relationship, both sides should provides support for each other, and it is not one person's job to do alone. Both the female lead and the male lead are smart and powerful in there own way. 

This series is quite dated far back. However, it really is a gem. The female lead San Niang, started it all. She was the ideal  "girl crush".  Not only was she a strong and brave fighter, she is a great thief with great fighting skills, and can hold herself up with the boys.

This is another series is also a bit dated. However, the storyline is still very captivating. The female lead in this story is also the same female lead to played the role of San Niang.

This series was a good stumbleupon. The storyline is refreshing, and all the characters are endearing and lovable in their own way. It shows the special bond and the great connections the members have with each other. The two female leads are polar opposites, one being  a bold and smart sword wielding fighter, and the other as just a regular naive girl, who learnt how to be strong and braver with the help of the people around her.

(KOR) This series is very lengthy and the context can be a bit heavy. It focuses on the female lead, and her journey to become the ruling Empress Ki.  The female lead is a skilled fighter, and strong powerful figure as the series developed.
