My drama 2023 ranking

maybe the short runtime or the gripping direction that makes it cool to me

it might have it flaws but it was cute and i was looking for cute sooooo

it felt like a genuinely normal ish story that was its charm for me

if only it had a less on the nose plot line direction

in many ways, it felt like a documentary, many period pieces use romance or actions, or politics as its driving force. this show was all about the time and its effect on a single family and its members.

the action was dope, the acting and crime awareness was dope, only if the held back on the backstory elements or left some threads dangling.

age is just a number its the desire and dream to achieve that keeps us alive.

surprisingly good, mature, and shows the underbelly of politics.

standalone not the best but good, in continuation with 1st season one of the best shows. (i watched it so)

my dearest was hype when it aired, it was hype for me when i watched. its charmingly shot and has a very strong independent female. and the ending stings

this one if underrated gem, the political side is slightly more heavy but the direction and unique camera work makes it stand out and entertain.

the show covers more plots in 13ep than some20ep shows...loved the vibe of FL

this is far for engaging than i initially expected and wasnt expecting to find it heavy towards the end

surprisingly enjoyable show, especially the bromance of the 3 friends, very similar to the my mister trio vibes.

the least dramatic drama out there in my book it feels simple, sure the initial plot hook is a jarring and contrived it evolves into simple genuine feels good show

though different from the manhwa.....the ending its heart-tugging and effective.

i get the hype it had worldwide......latter epi were both the most intriguing and meh for me.

a great representation of middle-class life just before the Bomb on Japan and war period

its a clever take on the time travel romance genre might be a bit slow and time-consuming for the plot to fully start. title song was a jam so hardly skipped it.

delightfully dumb is the most apt description of the show. it was fun

This is amongst the few shows of the generic romcom that i fall for. its charming with beautiful leads and just works

somehow this show resonated with me, at moments charmed me. yet ask me to explain to tell anything about it i draw a blank

It wasn't my dream adaptation, but it was a great adaptation considering how much they changed.

loved the buddy cop banter and dynammic

first 10ep was wine drunk bliss, but the later episodes drag the story that seems very one the nose and tends to opt out of being subtle.

along with the flower of evil has one of the best use of episode cliffhangers to keep the thriller ongoing, if only it was shorter and had a better ending.

the ML charisma is through the roof in this show.

i binged this in the deep night so i did enjoy it but i don't remember much of it 

the rare Korean game show in my list......was far more fun than it needed to be. the idea works and it just needed more reality drama to sell it more.

good show but lacked the knock out punch a good suspense builder needed

there was something about the show i just found enjoyable.

childhood troupe killed its momentum imo......but the character dynamics and banter was enjoyable

it was turning into a good enemies to lover genre show but the most of the later half went mainstream and normalised its charm.

it sort of works and is charming enough to entice you

its the tragic ending that makes me rank it high

if there is any drama that i can pick for 0 to 60 speed it might be this one for how fast pace the initial epi were.

the youth saga was better for me was adult saga slows down the story

this was fun imo

the Rom is good, but it a show that is vast loved more by the community than me

was over the top cop Jdrama yet the potential kinda just kept we wanting more

1st Taiwan drama, the friendship, and chemistry the leads have was enjoyable and felt like a real story, the screen time with the ex killed the mood most also 1.5hr runtime is unique for a drama.

for 12ep RomCom it was good bingable and better that secretary kim,

bussiness and romance

the bromance is so strong in this one that it carries its weak script towards the end

this is the ML work that i enjoyed the most, even if the show was just ok in my book

this felt like a adult Rom drama...but not a dissapointment

its beautifully shot shot, really hoped it had been more shot in foreign lands

saw it because of the MV but its runtime made it breeze

a classic watch, but again just a classic watch

this was hard for me to watch through....perhaps in the future watch chance i might find a greater appreciation for it. just wast me cup of tea.

its a mostly clique time travel rom com. could have been better

absurd storyline and intentional over-the-top acting style. has charm for people looking eggactly for it.

its the premise and the ending,  that keep it memorable......for its slow pacing might deter those who watch it.

could have been shorter and kept the young version of the leads, the intermingling backstory definitely makes a fun melodrama

super short and sweet moments.......very little depth to story

it might be simple and show signs of its age......but did i enjoy the MLs performance......Ding Dong

interesting but the SML was an irritating character

it felt like it was the length that killed it for me....as the tension started to dissapate

maybe under scored/ranked as it has its moments.  it felt bland thats y the rating.

another childhood connection troupe, but this one has my favorite Second Lead Syndrome, SML was the best imo.

since the twist was obvious they need to do better with making the characters rootable

peaked by ep5...then the plot hole and odd actions of characters made me lose the interest ep9

it drags a simple premise and over indulges in its story

all the cool buddy cop dynamic that could be had went down the gutter it an oddly slow pace.

crony daily soap like drama so many plot twist so high pace, but engaing and entertaining if your cup of tea/crack

there is a simplicity to the show that charms ya

nothing ground breaking

i did like it highschool romance definitely troupey......ending did spice it up a bit

it lacked the proper charm in its screenplay to make me feel it was worth the journey

this is imo way better than my rating of it. its just that it was watched by me at the wrong time. but for the enjoyment it provided it gets ranked in the list

even if the leads did a good job with the characters emotions, the show felt moree tell than show.....as the synamic were always told to us rather than shown to us.

this could be ranked/scored higher as it was easy to digest....but definitely never  felt high society like

simple casual watch material with wholesome moments

a show that got over within 4 to 5 ep but continued for another 10.

enjoyed the vibes of the FL...the ML was more boring....adding an extra antagonist really dragged the story.

unique and not for me, there is an extreme niche enjoyment of this show

this was hard to watch, the show just feels off 

would have been better if this was a case-by-case show rather than a big case show, with antagonist following the ML.

just like the theme its a mix mix of alot of milk with little coffee (sweet plus bitter)

cool idea weak excecution

entertaining start being wacky and all, lost its mojo by the end

the heavy screen time of esports without much explanation was a major deterrent, the visuals of the matches were cool. even the cute scenes were cuet

it doesnt make up its mind about being a crime drama or romance drama
