this show will always be one of my personal favorites even though it's not perfect. it's just so well made and you can tell they really put a lot of heart into it. these characters will be in my heart for a very long time :') -1 because they really tried to cram 3 years worth of games and development into 10 eps lmao this type of series needs at least 20.

this started out as something right up in my alley. i loved the unique obstacle that the main characters had to face but somewhere along the way they made too many bad decisions and this drama lost me a little. i generally do believe in the idea that "sex isn't love," but the way they went about it was so icky.  the ending, however, was great imo so im giving this a biased 6. this could have been everything...

I know I gave this drama a 4 but I actually enjoyed the plot and the characters. was definitely worth my time.  I just don't think 6 eps was enough to show any development I would have liked to see :(

loved this drama so much!!! definitely one of the best watches of 2024 and i can totally see myself rewatching this in a distant future :'( it was soooo well written. but im ngl the main character's self righteousness really got on my nerves sometimes. and i love how the characters were like "cheers to reita and the maruchan lady" like ehem?????? there was also another tenant living with u guys??? maruchan lady's lover hello??? he deserved better

i liked it (?) it was doing so well with the burnt out theme and then the plot lost me a little toward the end. but this is a short series so i guess i dont have any major complaints. nomura kota's deadpan face needs work though.

it's netflix money so we already knew it was going to be a visually stunning (yet hollow) show. i liked the romance aspect of it but the rest was a mess </3 the games were so stupid and not memorable at all. ep 4 my favorite why can't the other eps be more like you.

i hate this stupid show. there were 4574569 plot twists that were just flat out boring and unnecessary. kim ha neul can't act. the reporter and the police officer have zero chemistry idk why im forced to watch this. the only saving grace in this drama is jang seung jo he portrayed the perfect pathetic loser ily jang seung jo. the rest ill forget about in 3 days.

what a cute lakorn with a strong ending!! i really like the addition of the drug plot. i only wish it were expanded upon a liiiittle bit more because it definitely felt rushed. and maybe the beginning could have been stronger then it would have easily become a 7 for me. i don't know how i really feel about this drama tbh. on the one hand i really like the overarching theme of unconventional familial bonds. but then on the other hand i feel like it wasn't neatly executed. some episodes went too far into the makjang territory and they were quite daunting to watch. the manga is much more nuanced than this but i kinda understand the constraints jdrama writers are working with. oh well ill give this a 7 since that ending was lovely!
