Mars, the revolution mascot!
The poster caught my attention initially to watch this drama and the plot twist at the ending of first episode got me hooked. The overall plot is quite straight forward Zero vs XROCKY, which is done through the sub-plots and their connections.
As story goes on we get to know more about each character as well.
Acting is okay, Though the ML's acting needs polishing, sometimes his expressions are awkward, aside from that he is good in the action. the side characters were okay as well, some better than others. (Karen & Kyoka got me more emotionally attached to their characters due to better acting)
Among the 9 episodes, most were good (it's not that it had out of this world twists but it was entertaining and done well), in order to enjoy this drama, you shouldn't take things too seriously, there are things that you might need to let go & ignore in one or two episodes to enjoy the progression of story & its revelations.
Don't take it too lightly either, this drama might make you cry once or twice.
The ending concluded 90% of what it was building to an end and left a 10% hope for a possibility of continuation (I would like to know more about Zero's identity).
If they ever make a 2nd season, I'll watch it.

The Revolution that we all dreamed of but never had the chance
I loved the story of this drama as it resonated deeply with my own dreams, and I could empathize with ICON’s journey. Back in high school, I was buried under academic stress and isolation. I didn’t have friends, but I was a very politically opinionated person with strong views on the injustices of society at that time in China. Without a friend like Zero and the rest of Mars, I felt powerless. Some might argue that even with friends, achieving anything significant as a group of high schoolers is impossible. However, the beauty of a dream lies in pursuing the seemingly impossible until it becomes possible.Thank you to the scriptwriter, director, and Michieda Shunsuke-san, as well as the rest of the crew! This drama has evoked a range of emotions—happiness, anger, sadness, motivation, and love. It has inspired me to strive for improvement in my life and to stand up against injustice, echoing the sentiments of Zero and Heri: “It’s not progress if you don’t step forward and fight against it!”
Regarding the script, my favorite aspect is how each episode’s storyline contributed to the final success of the revolution, even with the help of Xocy, which added realism and inspiration. In reality, it’s nearly impossible for high schoolers to effect societal change, so including this detail meant a lot to me. Additionally, the ending scene where Zero finds ICON, only to have it cut off as “inappropriate content,” added to the intrigue of the drama. It reminded viewers not to become too invested in fiction, as actions like those of MARS would likely be censored rather than celebrated as heroic in reality.
Overall, I believe this is an excellent drama with a compelling narrative and outstanding acting, especially by Michieda Shunsuke. I eagerly await a second season, if it’s in the works.
