"Wonderland" Drops Tang Wei's Stills

Tang Wei returns to the Korean big screen with the movie Wonderland.

On April 23, the character stills featuring the Chinese actress were unveiled. 

In the K-movie, Wonderland is a virtual world where people can reunite with their loved ones with the help of artificial intelligence. Alongside Tang Wei, A-list actors such as Bae Suzy, Park Bo Gum, Choi Woo Shik, and Jung Yu Mi are also cast. Moreover, it will have a special appearance by Goblin actor Gong Yoo.  

Tang Wei takes on the role of Bai Li, a mother who uses the Wonderland service to conceal her death from her young daughter. Despite being physically distant, she strives to become a friend to her daughter by maintaining communication with her via video calls. Tang Wei is expected to intricately portray the inner turmoil of the perplexing character trapped in the world of Wonderland. 

Wonderland is coming to theaters on June 5.
