Park Hyung Sik takes on a new acting challenge in 'Buried Hearts'
The highly-anticipated MBC Friday-Saturday drama Undercover High School, confirmed to premiere on February 21, has unveiled its first official poster.
Undercover High School tells the story of a National Intelligence Service agent Jung Hae Seong (Seo Kang Joon) who goes undercover as a high school student to track the whereabouts of Emperor Gojong's lost gold bars.
The first poster features Seo Kang Joon transformed into Jung Hae Sung, an elite National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent. In the poster, he can be seen wearing a school uniform and standing in a dimly lit hallway with a fierce look in his eyes. Holding a gun, he exudes a commanding charisma that heightens the tension. The poster conveys the duality of his character — an NIS agent going undercover as a high school student on a secret mission.
In the drama, Seo Kang Joon's character, Jung Hae Sung, an NIS agent, receives a special order to infiltrate a high school and live as a student. While carrying out his mission, he navigates various kinds of circumstances with his classmates, as unexpected events unfold one after another before him.
The production team of Undercover High School stated, "The first poster put the contrasting elements of a school uniform and a gun together to encapsulate the concept of an NIS agent infiltrating a high school in one picture. The image of Agent Jung Hae Sung standing resolutely in the hallway outside a classroom announces the beginning of the Undercover High School operation."
Undercover High School is set to premiere on February 21. News about the K-dramas global OTT platform is yet to come.
