Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik Cry on Each Other's Shoulders in "Doctor Slump" Teaser

Doctor Slump is an upcoming rom-com that tells the story of two doctors in a slump, trying to steer their lives out of the darkness. 

The production team of the K-drama released the third teaser on January 2, depicting the journey of Yeo Jeong Woo (Park Hyung Sik) and Nam Ha Neul (Park Shin Hye) from their school days when they shined the most to their worst slumps in life. 

Park Hyung Sik plays Yeo Jeong Woo, a star plastic surgeon whose career came crashing down due to a mysterious medical accident. Park Shin Hye plays Nam Ha Neul, a hard-working anesthesiologist suffering from burnout. 

The newly-released third teaser offers glimpses of Yeon Jung Woo and Nam Ha Neul as they become each other's guiding light.  

Their bright and glorious past from their high school days, where Yeo Jeong Woo was admired not just for excelling in academics but also for his athleticism and charm, draws attention.

Nam Ha Neul expresses her displeasure, saying, "I really never understood the kids who said they liked Yeo Jeong Woo."

Interestingly, Yeo Jeong Woo shares a similar sentiment, feeling puzzled by those who think Nam Ha Neul is "okay". The scene shows him frozen in shock after looking at his mark sheet, having lost first place for the first time in his life.

However, Nam Ha Neul and Yeo Jeong Woo's current circumstances, as they meet again while entangled in life's worst slump and teetering on the brink of despair, paint a poignant picture.

The teaser then shows them relying on each other and shedding tears, evoking curiosity and inviting viewers to tune into the drama to see their stories unravel.

Doctor Slump will premiere on January 27. The K-drama will be available to stream on Netflix. Watch the teaser below.
