Yoo Ah In's film 'The Match' is under discussion for release
Channel A revealed the second teaser video for its upcoming weekend drama The Witch.
The Witch follows Dong Jin (Park Jin Young), who strives to uncover the truth behind the bad luck surrounding Mi Jung (Roh Jeong Eui), a woman labeled as a witch. Mi Jung is a woman who has cut herself off from the world due to the mysterious misfortunes that follow her wherever she goes.
The teaser begins with Dong Jin saying, "There must be a reason why you and I met again after a long time," as he encounters Mi Jung again after many years. He senses it is his destiny to reunite with Mi Jung, as he says, "The people meant to meet will inevitably meet someday."
Mi Jung has completely isolated herself from the world. Branded as a "witch", she left school on her own accord and lived a life of utter solitude, even wondering, "Is it possible to live without meeting anyone?"
Then, the only person who comes to her help is Dong Jin. He is set to embark on a perilous journey to bring Mi Jung back into society. "I will definitely find a way. I'll help her reclaim the life she's lost," Dong Jin says resolutely.
The production team of The Witch shared, "The second teaser portrays Dong Jin's fateful reunion with Mi Jung, after which he sets on a journey to save her despite the dangers of death and accidents. Dong Jin, the only person who refuses to believe she's a witch, is determined to dig into the pattern of misfortune and restore the life she's lost. This story embodies Kang Full's signature worldview of touching salvation. We hope viewers will anticipate the first broadcast, now just over a month away, with interest and affection."
