ASTRO's Yoon San Ha, Oh My Girl's Arin, & Chuu will reportedly work together in a new K-drama
Actor Namkoong Min will reportedly dominate tvN for a new K-drama.
After successfully starring in MBC last year, it seems like Namkoong Min will be seen next on tvN. On July 2, media outlets reported that Namkoong Min is set to lead the upcoming K-drama Our Film (working title).
Namkoong Min's agency 935 Entertainment responded to the casting reports. According to the agency, "Our actor did receive the offer to star in the K-drama and he is positively reviewing it."
Our Film will revolve around a film director and an actress with a terminal illness. The film director is experiencing a slump after the success of his first work while a terminal actress finally got the chance to be the main character of her life.
Namkoong Min got the offer to portray the role of Lee Je Ha. After being in a slump, he decided that for his next work, he wanted to create a film about a terminally ill patient with the main character who's sick terminally in real life.
Director Lee Jung Heum who also created the K-dramas Inspector Koo, Nobody Knows, and Falsify will be in charge of Our Film.
Our Film will exclusively premiere on tvN.
If Namkoong Min confirms his casting, this will be his comeback to tvN after almost four years. He was last seen in the broadcast channel in 2020 through the series Awaken.
Last year, Namkoong Min dominated MBC with the two-part series My Dearest. As a result, the actor won awards at the 2023 MBC Acting Awards and the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards.
Namkoong Min is known for leading the hit K-dramas My Dearest, One Dollar Lawyer, Hot Stove League, Doctor Prisoner, Good Manager, and more.
