Lee Sung Min's "Shadow Detective Season 2" Drops New Poster and Trailer

The main poster and trailer for Shadow Detective Season 2 have been unveiled.

The highly-anticipated series Shadow Detective Season 2, starring Lee Sung Min, Jung Jin Young, Kyung Soo Jin, Lee Hak Joo, and Kim Shin Rok, among others, is fast approaching its release. And ahead of its premiere, the production team released a trailer and the poster of the K-drama. 

The main poster showcases Detective Kim Taek Rok (Lee Sung Min), a veteran with 30 years of experience under his belt. With retirement just around the corner, his life is turned upside down by a notorious blackmailer who calls himself "Friend". In the second season, Taek Rok, who previously worked at the violent crime division, transfers to the women's juvenile crime division. 

Against a backdrop featuring various characters, the poster portrays Taek Rok's contemplating as he strives to unmask the mastermind behind "Friend". The text on the poster reads, "The enemy is still among us". 

Whereas, the main trailer opens with Taek Rok reflecting on the reasons he survived the life-threatening incident (that took happened in season 1). He then comes to the conclusion, "The 'Friend' was not just one person".

Furthermore, the trailer features intriguing characters, who further fuel Taek Rok's suspicions. Yeon Joo Hyeon, the newly appointed team leader of the women's crime unit, and Ki Do Hyung (Jung Jin Young), a prominent figure, who was once a legend in the police force, all contribute to the intricate web of intrigue. 

Moreover, the teaser highlights Taek Rok's unwavering determination when he says, "I will definitely catch you," declaring an all-out war. 

Shadow Detective Season 2 is directed by Han Dong Hwa. It is premiering on July 5 on Disney+. Watch the trailer here.
