Trending actor Lee Joon Hyuk will reportedly star in his third upcoming K-drama.
On January 23, media outlets reported that Lee Joon Hyuk has been picked to lead the upcoming webtoon-based K-drama The Winner of the Lottery Will Go to Work.
Lee Joon Hyuk's agency responded to the casting news. According to them, "Lee Joon Hyuk did receive the proposal and he is currently reviewing it."
Just yesterday, Lee Joon Hyuk also confirmed his participation in the upcoming K-drama The Art of Sarah with Shin Hye Sun.
The trending actor will also make a special cameo appearance in the new series Mercy for None led by So Ji Sub, Ahn Kil Kang, Lee Bum Soo, Gong Myung, Jo Han Chul, and Huh Joon Ho.
Lee Joon Hyuk is currently starring in the SBS K-drama Love Scout. The series easily became a hit and viewers are fond of the Lee Joon Hyuk and Han Ji Min's chemistry. Many also praised Lee Joon Hyuk's portrayal of a single father in the series.
Aside from K-dramas, Lee Joon Hyuk will also return to the big screen. He is set to make a special appearance in the upcoming film The Man Who Lives with the King led by Yoo Hae Jin, Park Ji Hoon, Yoo Ji Tae, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Min.
The Winner of the Lottery Will Go to Work will tell the story of an ordinary office worker whose life dramatically changes after a lottery win. The story will be based on a webtoon of the same name written by Seo In Ha.
Lee Joon Hyuk received an offer to portray the role of Kong Eun Tae, an ordinary worker who won the lottery. Despite his lottery win, he decided to maintain his previous lifestyle and continue working at his company.
