Ha Jung Woo and Krystal Jung to reportedly work together in a new thriller K-drama
Kim Ga Eun will be added to the confirmed cast lineup of the upcoming K-drama The Potato Lab.
On January 15, it was officially revealed that Kim Ga Eun will be one of the supporting roles in the upcoming romantic comedy K-drama The Potato Lab.
Kim Ga Eun will work in the new series with Kang Tae Oh, Lee Sun Bin, Lee Hak Joo, Shin Hyun Seung, and Seo Ji Hoon.
The Potato Lab will showcase the romance that will bloom at a potato research center located in a mountain valley.
Director Kang Il Soo and writer Kim Ho Soo will work together again for the upcoming K-drama. The two have previously worked in the 2019 historical K-drama Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung.
Kim Ga Eun will portray the role of Lee Ong Ju. She is Kim Mi Gyeong's (Lee Sun Bin's character) best friend. The two have a sibling-like relationship. She is a romance web novel writer and will be witness to how her friend will fall in love.
The Potato Lab will begin airing on March 1. The K-drama will have a total of 12 episodes and it will exclusively air on tvN.
This will be the return of Kim Ga Eun to K-dramas after two years.
She last appeared in the hit 2023 tvN K-drama King the Land with Lee Jun Ho, Girls Generation's Im Yoon Ah, Go Won Hee, Ahn Se Ha, and Kim Jae Won.
Last year, the actress also started her musical career and received favorable reviews for her performance.
Kim Ga Eun is known for being part of the K-dramas Under the Queen's Umbrella, The Light in Your Eyes, Because This Is My First Life, I Hear Your Voice, and more.
