Jung Yoo Mi fights to reclaim her destiny in Queen Woo.

Queen Woo is a historical drama about Queen Woo (Jeon Jong Seo), who becomes the target of five factions and princes of Goguryeo vying for the throne after the king's (Ji Chang Wook) death.

In the K-drama, Woo Sun is the most beautiful woman in the northern region, which has produced queens for generations. In the past, she naturally believed she would become queen, but due to a twist of fate, her younger sister Woo Hee made a choice on her behalf and became the queen instead, causing Woo Sun to lose the position she had so desperately desired.

In order to seize another chance at becoming queen, Woo Sun enters the palace as the head court lady serving her younger sister Woo Hee. Harboring the ambition to capture the heart of King Go Nam Mu (Ji Chang Wook) and become queen, she waits for the right opportunity. But the sudden death of the king brings an unexpected variable into her plans. The question arises: Will Woo Sun be able to claim the queen's position, which she had always believed to be rightfully hers?

The stills give a glimpse of various aspects of Woo Sun, who harbors big ambitions beneath her beautiful appearance. While she meticulously tends to every detail of her sister, the queen's attire, maintaining the dignity of her role as the head court lady, her face betrays an inexplicable sense of uneasiness.

Whether Woo Sun's dangerous ambition to seize the queen's position while standing by her side will come to fruition is a key point to look forward to.

Queen Woo will release Part 1 on August 29 followed by Part 2 on September 12. The K-drama will be available to stream on Paramount+.
