Jin Ki Joo receives offer to act alongside Kim Mu Yeol in 'Get Schooled'

Jin Ki Joo will reportedly work alongside Kim Mu Yeol in the upcoming webtoon-based K-drama Get Schooled.

On January 16, several reports stated that Jin Ki Joo would be one of the main leads of the upcoming K-drama Get Schooled.

Jin Ki Joo's agency FL ENT responded to the casting reports. The agency shared, "Jin Ki Joo did receive the offer to star in Get Schooled and the actress is currently reviewing the offer."

If Jin Ki Joo confirms her casting, this will be her second upcoming K-drama project. Next month, the actress will also star in the upcoming K-drama Undercover High School with Seo Kang Joon, Kim Min Ju, Kim Shin Rok, Yoon Ga Yi, and Kim Young Ah. 

Jin Ki Joo is known for being part of the K-dramas Uncle Samsik, My Perfect Stranger, From Now On, Showtime!, The Secret Life of My Secretary, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, and more. 

Get Schooled will revolve around the fictional agency Teachers' Rights Protection Agency. The K-drama will showcase how the agency will help the teachers restore the school's authority. The series is based on the webtoon of the same name, written by Chae Yong Taek and illustrated by Han Ga Ram.

Kim Mu Yeol is confirmed to lead the K-drama. He will give life to the character named Na Hwa Jin, the supervisor of the Teachers' Rights Protection Agency. 

Jin Ki Joo got the offer to portray the role of Im Han Rim, a fellow supervisor of Kim Mu Yeol's character Na Hwa Jin. 

Get Schooled will be the joint work of Hong Jong Chan (Juvenile Justice, Life, and Dear My Friends) and writer Lee Nam Gyu (Daily Dose of Sunshine, Behind Your Touch, and Duty after School).

According to reports, Get Schooled will begin its filming in the first half of 2025 and will premiere in 2026.
