Playing the role of Kwon Seok Joo is the talented actor Park Sung Woong, who kills the culprit responsible for sexually assaulting his 8-year-old daughter and is now serving a long sentence in prison. Once a prominent legal expert in South Korea, Kwon Seok Joo commands respect even behind bars and is often referred to as "Professor" due to his intellectual prowess.
Im Ji Yeon portrays Joo Hyun, a seasoned police officer in the Cyber Security Division of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. Joining the force through a specialized cyber recruitment program, Ju Hyun was once hailed as the ace of the Cyber Investigation Team. However, she now finds herself the target of public scrutiny.
National Death Penalty Vote will premiere on August 10. The first two episodes will be aired in the premiere week, followed by a weekly release of one episode. The series is set to consist of 12 episodes and is expected to run for approximately three months.
