Jang Dong Yoon offered to star in the Korean remake of French drama "Mantis"
Cho Yi Hyun is in discussion for her fourth upcoming K-drama.
Media outlets reported on June 20 that Cho Yi Hyun has been selected to lead the upcoming webtoon-based K-drama My Brother's House Is Empty. The upcoming K-drama will reportedly premiere on SBS and it will have a total of 12 episodes.
Cho Yi Hyun's agency Artist Company shared their side regarding the casting. According to them, My Brother's House Is Empty is one of the projects that was offered to the actress. She is currently reviewing the offers and nothing has been confirmed yet.
If Cho Yi Hyun decides to join the upcoming SBS series, this will be her fourth upcoming K-drama. The actress is also expected to appear in the K-dramas Summer Vacation, All of Us Are Dead Season 2, and Vampire Chef.
Cho Yi Hyun was last seen in the 2023 K-drama The Matchmakers with SF9's Rowoon, Jo Han Chul, Lee Ye Joo, Park Ji Young, and Lee Hae Young.
The actress started her acting career in 2017. She became more known to local and international audiences after starring in the hit Netflix original K-drama All of Us Are Dead.
My Brother's House Is Empty is a cohabitation romance K-drama that revolves around a third-generation conglomerate running away from home and a top star. The story will be depicted from the webtoon of the same name by Tae So Young and Lee Seo Hee.
According to reports, the upcoming K-drama will finalize the production details and casting and will begin filming in September of this year.
There are no reports yet on who will play the male lead part of the series and will possibly work with Cho Yi Hyun.
SBS hasn't confirmed as well the premiere date of My Brother's House Is Empty.
