Chinese drama 'Perfect Match' announces premiere date

The upcoming historical comedy drama Perfect Match has confirmed its release date for January 25.

The drama tells the story of the Li family, who during the reign of Emperor Renzong of the Northern Song Dynasty, traveled to Bianjing in search of good matches for the family's daughters and experienced amusing adventures while starting a business in the big city.

During the reign of Emperor Renzong in the Northern Song Dynasty, Madam Li travels to Bianjing (modern-day Kaifeng) in search of good matches for her four daughters waiting to be married. She seeks the help of her second daughter, Fu Hui (Wu Xuan Yi), who married at a young age and settled there.

However, life in Bianjing is challenging, and the Li family has no choice but to work together, starting a business while gradually seeking virtuous and talented husbands for the daughters.

The third daughter of the Li family, Kang Ning (Lu Yu Xiao), is sharp-witted and bold, determined to find a husband who could match her in every way.

She becomes intrigued by Chai An (Wang Xing Yue), who is equally proud and intelligent.

The eldest daughter, Shou Hua (Liu Xie Ning), widowed at a young age, has no intention of remarrying.

However, through a twist of fate, she becomes the wife of a proud and arrogant scholar, Du Yang Xi (Chen He Yi).

The fourth daughter, Hao De (Ke Ying), sweet and naive, unexpectedly falls for the cold magistrate Shen Hui Zhao (Liang Yong Qi). She helps him in solving a series of mysterious cases.

The fifth daughter, Le Shan (Huangyang Tian Tian), the youngest of the Li family, is the most flamboyant in personality.

By a twist of fate, she ends up in an imperial marriage match with Yang Xian (Winwin), the frivolous and carefree son of a wealthy family. Their relationship, filled with constant bickering and comedic misunderstandings, promises to evoke laughter.
