Actor Ji Sung will reportedly return to MBC 10 years after Kill Me, Heal Me.

On January 10, media outlets reported that Ji Sung's next K-drama project will be broadcast on MBC. The actor will reportedly star in the upcoming fantasy law K-drama Judge Lee Han Yeong

MBC shared their statement regarding the casting reports. According to the broadcast channel, "Ji Sung was offered to star in the web novel based K-drama Judge Lee Han Yeong."

Ji Sung's agency, Surpass Entertainment, also shared their side regarding the casting news. According to them, "Ji Sung is positively considering the offer to star in a new MBC K-drama."

Judge Lee Han Yeong will tell the story of a judge who was falsely accused of a crime and tragically lost his life. He mysteriously returns to the past, 20 years before his death. The K-drama will base its story on a web novel of the same name.

Ji Sung got the offer to star as Lee Han Young, a judge who resurrected from the dead and returned 20 years ago.

Judge Lee Han Yeong will exclusively premiere on MBC. The broadcast date and other casts have not yet been revealed.

If Ji Sung confirms his casting, this will be his grand comeback to MBC. The actor last starred in the broadcast channel in 2015 through the hit series Kill Me, Heal Me. This will also possibly be the first K-drama project of Ji Sung for 2025.

Last year, Ji Sung led the hit SBS K-drama Connection with Jeon Mi Do, Kwon Yul, Kim Kyung Nam, Jung Soon Won, and Jung Yoo Min

Ji Sung is known for leading the K-dramas Adamas, The Devil Judge, Doctor John, Familiar Wife, Defendant, Secret, and more.
