Currently Watching: My Secret Romance

After finishing the fantastic Strong Woman, Do Bong Soon, I wanted to start another light romantic comedy to get me over the loss of my weekly MinMin and BongBong couple fix. My Secret Romance came at the perfect time, and when I saw that Sung Hoon (Oh My Venus, Noble My Love) was in it, I instantly put it on my to-watch list. Really, that is probably enough of a reason right there… I mean… come on!

Synopsis (so far)

Rich chaebol playboy, Cha Jin Wook (Sung Hoon), meets Lee Yoo Mi (Song Ji Eun) at one of his father’s Jeju resorts. They spend a night together, but in the morning Lee Yoo Mi is gone and took his coat on top of it.

Three years later, Cha Jin Wook is now a serious businessman working for his father’s company (and also an underwear model for the company). There, Lee Yoo Mi is hired as a nutritionist. The two cross paths, but Lee Yoo Mi pretends she does not recognize Cha Jin Wook. We all know that secrets this juicy always have a way of surfacing!

Reasons to Watch

Let me tell you, it does not disappoint. It has the common K-Drama theme of a one night stand that will lead to romance, but don’t let that turn you away, so far it is fantastic! This drama has everything, sizzling chemistry, amazing supporting cast, and hilarious antics. It will have you laughing so loud you'll start to scare your roommate. And if that's not enough, the secretary's amazing fashion sense cannot be missed!
