Your Neighbor’s Wife

Yum Jung Ah (My Love, Madame Butterfly, Royal Family), Jung Joon Ho (Queen of Reversals, IRIS), Shin Eun Kyung (Still You, Flames of Ambition), and Kim Yoo Suk (The Great King’s Dream, Syndrome) are cast in jTBC’s new drama,Your Neighbor’s Wife on October 14th after Her Legend.  The director is Lee Tae Gon who also directed Queen Insoo and Best Theater – Lunch Box. The screenplay is by Kang Ji Yeon, Lee Joon Yeong, Min Seon, and Yoo Won.  None of these writers have previous drama credits.

Chae Song Ha is the mother of two and a successful career woman. She is a perfectionist at work and home.  Her husband is Ahn Seon Gyu (Kim Yoo Suk).  Hong Kyung Joo (Shin Eun Kyung) is a full-time housewife, but she isn’t typical.   When facing her judgmental husband, Min Sang Sik (Jung Joon Ho), she spits in his food and harbors vengeful thoughts.  This drama is about two couples that live in the same apartment complex and are tired of their dull marriages.  Apparently a “mysterious event” occurs that starts a secretive romance.

Although this drama has some great leading ladies, I have no interest in watching couples that are unhappy and cheat on each other.  However, I thought I would throw it out there in case some of you might like it.

Lee Chae Mi (Two Weeks), Kim Yoo Jung (May Queen, The Moon that Embraces the Sun) and Uee (Jeon Woo Chi, Ojakgyo Brothers) are cast in MBC’s weekend drama that will take the place of Scandal: A Shocking and WrongfulIncident on November 2nd.  It will be directed by Kang Dae Sun who also directed I Do, I Do and My Princess.  The writer is Son Young Mok who also wrote May Queen and The Iron Empress.  There are a lot of child actors in this drama including Ahn Seo Hyun (Shark), KimDong Hyun (May Queen), Choi Ro Woon (Good Doctor), Jung Yoon Suk (Her Legend), Song Yu Jeong, and Kim Tae Jun.  They will play the siblings.  Kim Sang Joong (The Chaser, City Hunter) is also cast in this drama.

The drama is about 7 orphaned and not blood-related siblings that face hardships in the world.  Han Joon (Kim Sang Joong) is the adoptive father of seven orphans.  Baek Won (Uee, KimYoo Jung, and Lee Chae Mi) is the eldest sister in a family of orphans.  She is tomboyish with a strong sense of justice.

UPDATE: Jung Il Woo has been confirmed to play Uee's love interest.

I think this would be interesting to watch, but it is another 50 episode drama.  The kids are so cute though and I enjoyed May Queen.  I feel myself being sucked in.

Uhm Ji Won (Childless Comfort, Can Love Become Money), Lee Ji Ah (Me too,Flower, Athena: Goddess of War), and Seo Yeong Hee (A Thousand Kisses, Here He Comes) will be the leading ladies for SBS upcoming drama The Woman Who Married Three Times which will begin airing November 11th after Goddess of Marriage.  They will be joined by Song Chang Eui (The Great Seer, Syndrome), Ha Suk Jin (Shark, Childless Comfort), and Jo Han Sun (April Kiss, Good Person).   This will be Jo Han Sun’s first role since he was discharged from military service last year. The director is Son Jung Hyun who also directed All About My Romance and Protect the Boss.  The writer is the renowned Kim Soo Hyun who also wrote Childless Comfort  and A Thousand Days’ Promise (just a few of the many she has written).   Most of these actors have worked with either the director or writer at some point.

There isn’t much to go on as far as plot.  It is about a mom and her daughters.  Oh Hyun Soo (Uhm Ji Won) is the first daughter and Oh Eun Soo (Lee Ki Ah) is the second daughter.  There is no information on where the men fit into the story.

Yet another 50 episode drama. After watching Goddess of Marriage, I’m not sure I’m interested in watching another drama about marriage. Although I really like the writer, Kim Soo Hyun.  Geez!!! I feel myself watching another 50 episodes.
There isn’t much going on in the world of Korean drama that starts in November.

Do any of these dramas look interesting to you?
