In the Know with Purplenette
Two Weeks ended this week and some of you may be waiting for Top Medical Team to begin. Well, you will have to wait an extra week, because MBC has pushed it back a week to air two Drama Specials on October 2nd and 3rd. MBC is airing a Drama Festival series which will feature 10 drama specials by up and coming directors as well as unconventional and experimental works.
The first is a comedy starring Baek Il Sub (Goddess of Marriage, Cheer Up, Mr Kim) and Lee Ho Jae (Home Sweet Home, Flames of Ambition) called The Marvelous Sunshine Funeral Home for the Elderly. I don’t know exactly what it is about, but the trailer looks cute.
The second is a historical starring Kang Ha Neul (Two Weeks, Monstar) and Yang Jin Woo (I Love Lee Tae Ri, Magic) called Unrest or Rebellious. Joon Won (Yang Jin Woo) and Joon Kyung (Kang Ha Neul) are two men who suffer the unjust because of the caste system and a corrupt government.
I’m not a huge fan of comedies or historical dramas, but I hope these get subbed. I absolutely think that Kang Ha Neul is a great actor and would love to see him in Rebellious. For all of you Heirs lovers, Kang Ha Neul will also have a supporting role in that drama.
