How many movies have we all seen? Lots. How many of those movies had kisses in them? Maybe, most of them or hardly a few ones.
But how many of those kissing scenes have really stood out as memorable? I am sure most of us have loved different kissing scenes from different movies. They were perhaps shot very well or seemed realistic.
For me, what defines a memorable kissing scene is the feeling with which the characters kiss each other. There are situations and angst filled moments leading to that scene. It's a cherry on top if the actors have good chemistry with each other. Kisses could be sweet or filled with passion. Either way, here are my picks:
It is a movie starring one of the hottest Taiwanese actors, Jiro Wang. While I am a fan of his acting, his kissing skills are no less. This scene stuck in my head the first time I saw it and I replayed it lots of times. It is passionate and sultry. The tango dance and the moments leading up to their kiss are squeal worthy. The chemistry between the actors is almost bouncing off the screen every time I watch it.
This scene is one of the simplest kissing scenes I have seen, and yet it is memorable because of its cuteness. A professor and a student stealing a kiss secretly in the library is such a great set up. The girl's reaction after receiving the kiss is priceless. She reacts like any 17 year-old would. Not just this, but they had lots of other cutesy scenes throughout the entire film.
I find this to be one of the prettiest kisses I have seen. It is gentle, and the beautiful scenery makes it a lot more appealing to look at. The leads manage to seem natural with each other and the kiss doesn't feel forced. This whole movie has breathtaking cinematography and the camera work is really great.
This movie has a couple of great kissing scenes. While I liked the one from the Fashion Show more, this was equally good. Keiko Kitagawa and Mukai Osamu have awesome chemistry. This movie was funny and these two actors together made it very adorable to watch. I was anticipating their getting together during the whole film. And they gave me a couple favourite Japanese movie kisses.
Countless fans over the world waited for Makino and Tsukasa to get their happy ending. We see that in the final movie of the Hana Yori Dango series. The kissing scene from their wedding is in the last few seconds of this video. It was worth the wait for them to get together. I still love their scenes!
