Tokyo Ghoul to Get a Live Action Film Adaptation
Cable Channel TvN has announced that production has started on its third Flower Boy Drama, Flower Boy Next Door (aka My Flower Boy Neighbor, aka Neighbor Hottie). The first two Flower Boy dramas were Flower Boy Ramyun Shop and Shut Up: Flower Boy Band.
Based on the webtoon, “I Steal Glances at You Everyday”, this 16-episode romantic comedy will feature Park Shin Hye (You're Beautiful, Heartstrings) and Yoon Shi Yoon (King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo, Me too, Flower) as lead actors. Producers explained that the two actors were the company’s first choice for this project.
Park Shin Hye will be playing Go Dok Mi (which literally means “lonely soul”), a beautiful girl who lived her life isolated from the outside world but is suddenly forced out from her lonely bubble by her neighbor. Her neighbor Enrique Gum (played by Yoon Shi Yoon) is described as a genius creative director and a stylish bohemian who loves soccer.
"Flower Boy Next Door" will start filming on mid-November 2012 while its air date has been set on January 7, 2013.
