similar plots of people pretending to be what theyre not. in cloud stairs the main guy pretends to be a doctor and in miss ripley the girl gets a job and visa because of a fake college degree.

About a man that makes a big lie about himself because of personal greed/ something he wants. And he falls in love because of that lie.

A romance melodrama.

They both have pure romance... Not romance based on bluntly expressed lust and physical attraction like most dramas.

Of course some beautiful melodrama too. Beautiful sincere feelings..

And there is a slight similarity in the stories.

They have the romantic old/classic drama vibe.

Han Ji Hye stars in both, but she’s the main FL in Cloud Stairs.
