Angel's Revenge (2014)

When I first started watching this drama I thought it was going to be different than what is really was b/c I read the synopsis which really misleads you - she doesn't get married for a long time and the one who is really "hiding" and showing true colors only to one person was Taejeong Not the leading lady - although she lied to people too - This drama was an easy watch - I could easily watch episodes back to back no problem and the build up was good, the only problem I had was that certain situations that took place were a bit unbelievable - I mean you've got to be stupid to do some of the things they did but that aside as it is a drama and there wouldn't be that many episodes if things went the way they realistically should have...It was a good enjoyable drama from beginning to end - the last few episodes lacked something but the ending was still worth it.
Cast: my favorite character was Jiseok (Kwon Yool) - he looked best to me when his bangs stayed ON his forehead lol - all I wanted throughout this drama was for him to be happy. Seonyu (Yoon So Yi) annoyed me sometimes with the way her brain worked and the way she'd reason things out - but I liked her most of the time - she too looked best with her hair down. Jihui was a good person who deceived herself basically and I didn't like her for a short while but she redeemed herself in the end for me...I loved the grandma and Hyeonsu ;) Aran was pretty spiteful throughout most of the drama, as for Seonyu's aunt and uncle - her aunt was fine most of the time, her uncle though - those faces he would make - all I can say is "oh boy stop" - I loved her cousin Gijin - super handsome and cool ;)
Music: I don't remember anything except for the intro/outro ....
Re-watch: not likely - good for a one time watch though.

The title angel revenge revenge is perfect for this series. This was 103 episodes. Of those about 99 were trying to get revenge. If you’re into revenge dramas you make like this. The acting was good and there was always something going on that kept you engaged. The only thing that I didn’t like was the length. Again, the show was okay but due to my personal preference I’m 50/50 on this one. #1 I’m not a fan of drawn out dramas #2 I absolutely dislike dramas that have drawn out reveals and I mean drawnnnn out. Literally took 90 episodes for everyone to know the truth. 90 out of 103 is too much secret. #3 that sacrificial breakup and the rushed ending of togetherness. #4 relationships built of deceit changes everything which is boring and makes the previous episodes somewhat obsolete. No rewatch value here.

Considering the events and the crimes committed, the revenge wasn't that satisfactory, it was full of cheap shots. The same thing can be said about the ending. This drama definitely reminded me of Yellow Boots. If you were to compare it to Yellow Boots then that one is much better and more appealing even though my rating for both of them is close. Ji Suk was introduced as a man-child and he remained a man-child until the end, not much changed about him other than how he portrayed in the first episode only. The ending was definitely rushed, you can tell by their introduction of a new character around the ending. They clearly didn't plan for it ahead of time and were just going as things happening. Some things that happened were genuinely making fun of the viewers' intellect. How in the living hell would you deliver a baby while dying on the streets and get the baby snatched without cutting the umbilical cord?! Felt like an episode from Tom & Jerry. Anyway, I wanted the nun to turn into an assassin that would be more fun.

Angel’s Revenge (2014) - I applaud myself for finishing this 100+ episodes drama. I saw the trailer of this drama from our local television network GMA as tagalog dubbed and I can't stand the dubbing so I find any means to watch this in korean format with english subtitles.
What I like most about this drama is the romance between the main leads. They really have the undying chemistry all throughout watching this and I felt butterflies in my stomach. On the plot, I would say since it is a "makjang" drama it is indeed unbelievable and it's really exhausting to watch. For the fact that it's too long, the angst and the anxiety watching this is there so it's pretty heavy on me as a watcher who is not familiar with this type of dramas. Overall, I would still recommend this to those who like "makjang" dramas and have the time to watch this.

Drama was watchable until FL's secret got exposed to her husband
ML was a illigimate bastard who think his step mother should love him,

grandmother got forgiven at last for being a old thief, that Old bitch should be kicked out from not only there house but from whole korea
ML was Most Idiot Man in whole show that was big reason his own wife never trusted him.
Most annoying character was Crazy Uncle, the way he talk about his thief mother and how he behaves with his sister in law was so irritating
he was so disrespectful towards his sister in law
everything wrong was created by that old bitch for money and she was forgiven so easily
FL was doing everything for her dead sister but that Old bitch stole someone child for Money there was no real feelings inside that old slut
Idiot ML sided with a old thief who dtole him from his mother for money,
how he was able to forgive her has he had no self esteem at all
at first i ignore his attitude but at second watch it all irritating
how he treated his stepmother and how that old Bitch garanny treated everyone while she was one wrong in all that
that old bitch until the end never apologize for her wrong attitude towards her daughter in law
and that Crazy uncle should have burn alive for what a jerk he was in whole show
such a ass licker for his moma...
and ML was same little baby for his granny still sucking milk from that old hags nipples
