Everything starts with a one night stand in both series...
*trigger waring: There's infidelity. I know it can be a trigger for some, and there're people that just don't like watching it.

The same story but En of Love is the abridged version therefore if you find LM too long, a shorter series will tell you everything you need to know. The chemistry between the leads is the same but Mark is more likable in En of Love and Vee in LM!
PS I can't believe nobody submitted this as a recommandation yet!

If your favorite thing about Why R U is Fighter and Tutor's chemistry then I highly recommend Love Mechanics for Mark and Vee's chemistry. Vastly different stories but keeps you addicted because of how well the two pairs play on screen.
Both shows are set in university with Fighter and Tutor as well as Mark and Vee in the engineering faculties. Both touch on familial expectations of their sons liking boys. Both have really good looking casts. And in both couple's stories it is pretty angsty and dramatic. Not a smooth ride for either one to find a happy ending.
Why R U has a broader cast and follows two main couples as they navigate changes in their feelings and expectations on them. Personally I watched this show specifically because of Zee and Saint's performances. The way they portray Fighter and Tutor and their unbelievable chemistry really carried this show for me.
Love Mechanics follows Mark and Vee that have a drunk one night stand that leads to both finding feelings for each other. The problem is that Vee is already in a relationship and is struggling with coming to terms with his blossoming feelings which often leads to him hurting Mark.

The similarity between My Stand-In and Love Mechanics lied in the sexual relationship between two men in which one of them love another person that caused the MC sad and tormented. Both MC were quick at recognizing affection and rejection, while both ML were not willing to choose between MC and their love interests and confused about their own feeling for quite long. The difference was in My Stand-In the MC was not in love with anyone when starting a relationship with ML, while in Love Mechanics the drunk MC thought he slept with his love interest at that moment after being broken-hearted by his love interest's confession to another person. The ML in My Stand-In was selfish and obsessed, while in Love Mechanics the ML was kind and soft-hearted.
Both have university settings, but thankfully both have the bulk of their interactions occur outside of school. Both have mature themes in some areas and have amazing chemistry between the main actors. Love Mechanics has a bit more difficulty in the relationship, but in both shows you can feel beautiful love between the couples.
While this is a series...it's similar because just like Daonuea x Nine, Mark and Vee deal with a messy start to their relationship.
Mark and Vee both attend the same college and their friend groups orbit each other like the Moon and Sun.
Mark is in love with Vee's friend, but is rejected by him because he is in a relationship with a fellow college friend. Heartbroken Mark gets really drunk one night while at a club/pub and Vee happens upon him in a super intoxicated state. Vee, takes Mark back to his place with the intentions of letting him sleep it off but ends up having sex with a drunk Mark who has mistaken Vee for the person he has feelings for.
Vee is in a relationship, which is a mess as well. While he believes that his girlfriend is faithful to him...he will soon learn that she is seeing a rich college guy, who's been able to shower her with all of the things a poor Vee cannot. Vee thinking he has a solid relationship and just made a one time mistake with Mark, works to ensure that his girlfriend does not find out about what happened between him and Mark, but his feelings for Mark continue to grow, he can't seem to stop himself form interfering in Mark's like or finding reasons to interact with Mark.
Just like Nine was in a messy relationship with his girlfriend when he met Daonuea at the resort..Nine knew he wasn't free to engage in a relationship but he let his budding feelings get the best of him, and had full intentions of continuing with Daonuea, but returning home he was met with reality again...dealing with a girlfriend who was not mentally stable.
Mark like Daonuea longs to be in love with someone that loves him and want hurt him. He is unsure how to handle the situation with Vee but he also can't deny that since he and Vee had sex with each other, that he has no interest in him.
The series is acted out very well...the chemistry from the two actors portraying Vee (War) and Mark (Yin) is beautiful. I ship these two together, that is how good and beautiful their acting was. It's really worth watching.

I'd say Love Mechanics is just My Ride if they were in college.
Similarities:
* rich X poor trope
* Cheating
* One of the leads are gay and the other used to date women before falling in love with the main dude
* Motorcycle Rides
* lead is far away from family and only goes home when they experience heartbreak
* ex gf comes back for a clutch conflict
There's prolly more i forgot to mention but I believe these would suffice.
