The NEW CDrama of 2024, "Smile Code" has awakened Fans from around the world to watch this upcoming story about a young man played by Lin Yi who suffers from Alexithymia. What is Alexithymia? It is a condition where a person is unable to express emotion, and 1 in 10 people suffer from it and their unable to "LAUGH". It is common condition with people that suffer from depression and Autism (ASD).

Next, comes the witty, clumsy, and humorous Shen Yue who makes everyone laugh except Lin Yi. They develop a friendship based on coincidences and it sparks a new relationship about Love while still dealing with the aftermath of their past family trauma and circumstances. This is another beautiful love story with 34 episodes and is a must Watch series. This is a drama that is unlike any other drama because it deals with a condition that is not talked about and the only cure is finding another person who has the opposite personality.

CHARACTER AND SORRY BOTH SIDE

someone said that the title "SMILE CODE" doesn't fit the plot of the story. like tho is he/she even watch it and feel it? but yeah for me this drama is funny also comfort for me in short I LOVE THIS DRAMA NO LONG EXPLANATION INDEED! This show is just... so good! I was excited for it even before it aired, but honestly, I didn't have high hopes since I usually find modern Chinese dramas a bit dull and hard to engage with. I was really hoping this one would keep my attention, and let me tell you—it absolutely has!

Right now, I’m also watching other dramas like Fangs of Fortune, Love Eastern Game Fantasy, and Story of Pearl Girl. They’re released around the same time each morning, but I always find myself watching Smile Code first.

What I really love about this show is how unique it feels compared to others. The male lead (ML) is emotionless due to a mental condition, so he’s cold and blunt, especially at first with the female lead (FL). In most dramas, the ML is cold without any real reason, but here, his struggle to understand emotions is central to who he is. He can feel things; he just doesn’t know how to express them. This is where the FL, who’s all warmth and sunshine, comes in to "heal" him.

From the very first episode, their chemistry is so strong, and by episode twoo or three, she’s already moved in with him, which I love because it means they’ll get even closer. I’m already picturing their dating phase, getting butterflies just thinking about it!

I highly recommend watching Smile Code—you won’t regret it!

RECOMMENDED C-DRAMA WITH AN INTERESTING PLOT

Trust me, I've rewatched this drama approximately 5 times now, despite the fact that not all episodes have yet been released. Except for episodes 1-2, they all made me laugh a lot. It's a good drama with a unique plot and concept, and it deserves to be noticed more. I swear, I've been excitedly looking forward to their new episodes, every day. There's nothing else I could say because I absolutely just love it! The storyline, the casting, the chemistry between the two main leads, and the plot are all absolutely PERFECT to me. Last but not least, this is definitely worth watching <3

Super Cute Drama!!!

This drama is a breath of fresh air. Ever since watching Till the end of the Moon. I have not watched any other Chinese drama since it’s always been the same generic theme. However when I decided to give “Smile Code” a try I got hooked. I loved the concept and storyline about a male figure not being able to express any feelings to love another person. I have to admit the drama started slow and I basically skimmed through scenes about the company but whenever Shenyue and Lin Yi appeared on screen I find them so natural and adorable with one being so happy and bubbly person which resonates to Shen Yue personality in real life and Lin Yi haha, I always pictured him as a cool and collected person who no reactions to anything and this fits him haha. And for him to making jokes with a straight poker face. I can’t haha, one minute he compliments and treats the female lead with care, next minute he says something that sounds offensive ?. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry seeing Lin Yi ? I can’t wait for upcoming scenes where he rejects her and he start to really have feelings and don’t want to lose her. Not looking foreword for the main lead female boss. Not liking her too much. She’s so passive aggressive to my female lead. But our FL is strong, she has so many people backing up and supporting her (SML, ML, ML friend). Can’t wait to see what the rest of the episodes will bring us!! Can’t wait for our ML to make his move once he rejects and pushes her away, he’s going to work really hard to win her back
